North Korea Uses Children as Guinea Pigs to Test Chemical Weapons

english.pravda.ru

If this is true it's absolutely sickening

North Korea is testing its “biological and chemical weapons” on “humans, specifically mentally or physically handicapped children,” Im Chun-yong, a former officer in the North Korean military who escaped to South Korea in 1999, said in an interview with the al-Jazeera.

"If you are born mentally or physically deficient, the government says your best contribution to society… is as a guinea pig for biological and chemical weapons testing,” the former officer was quoted as saying.

Pyongyang tests poisonous gases on humans, timing how long it takes for them to die, the officer said.

What a terrible thing this is.

It's getting to be about time that somebody steps in and does something about these bastards.

Killing more than they'd help in the first place.... I thought we'd learned from veitnam, iraq, afghanistan etc. The US does not win wars it prolongs them.

If this is true it's disgusting, but really are any other governments adding flouride to water and allowing dangerous additives into food by lobbying any worse? Tamiflu.. etc etc. They screw with an entire countries population...

Hmm, I rather think this is just anti-NK propaganda and not necessarily genuine.

While NK isn't the nicest place in the world, I think it'd be far too easy to assume they are 'the worst' and test chemical weapons on children. And it's certainly an easy way to whip up some serious anti-NK sentiments.

To accuse a countrty/body of not only testing chemical weapons on humans, but on children - and handicapped at that. Sounds like the perfect evil-doer's trifecta!

I totally agree with what you said. WOW Looking at some of the posts you can really see how easy we are to control. We read something without any proof except a article and in the next statement lets kill all the evil tyrants.

I can see how all the politicians keep the cat chasing the laser in the US, here on ATS it is entertaining to say the least..........lol

Major Big Pharma has been doing this for decades.
They are using asian countries as a nation of guinea pigs to save trillions on R&D.

The West did this before any other region on the planet.

I am, of course, happy to be wrong (tho in this case I wouldn't be).

And I'm not debunking for the sake of debunking - the article just had a very sour feeling to it.

And when you want to defame/accuse someone of something horrible - what sort of things will generate some of the worst anti-[country] sentiments?

Well, chemical weapon testing is bad. On humans is a huge no-no and children is REALLY pure scum. And then hand-capped children?! I mean, can you get any worse? I don't think so.

So that's why I'm initially skeptical of the claims. But again, I'm happy to be corrected and in no way condone or support NK's govt/political actions to it's own people and the world in general.
