Glenn Beck: Cars.gov allows government to takeover your computer

For future reference, to prevent numerous multiple threads, do an ATS Search to find out if a thread already exists before creating a new one.

This is actually old news my friend. And I just listened to his show yesterday where they confirmed what they were told by the White House when they questioned them on this. The White House confirmed what was being charged and that they were removing this requirement. So, although it was outrageous when it was in place, especially since this current administration decided to change the rules on cookies and information gathering being done by government machines, it is supposedly a moot point.

Also, it was only supposed to be directed towards the car dealerships and their computers. Not the personal computer. Still doesn't make it right but I just wanted to make sure we get as much factual information out there as possible.

lol, I guess its important to read the print before proceeding. That is huge and highly important. Good find Zorgon Does any other website do that as well?

And I wouldn't believe it anyway. Besides, I work at a car dealership and it is a large corporate dealer with numerous locations, so yeah, then they could still access my information, even the fact that I am posting HERE, which I don't normally do, just read. So, yes then they still have access to millions of people's information, which would include customer information and employees. Despite what they say, still doesn't give me the warm fuzzies.
