Why don't you ask the people who reported it.

Or, check the other thread.

I did check the other thread. According to the other thread, people saw something odd-looking on the back of a truck. What I don't understand is why these people thought it was a flying craft and not simply a piece of industrial equipment.

For example, here's part of a tunnel-boring machine:

I'm not saying THIS is exactly what was seen -- I'm just pointing out that it is entirely possible that the object seen was simply a large piece of industrial equipment.

Why not just cover it?

There are trucks on the road everyday with equipment covered by tarps and nobody gives it a second thought. Obviously (with this thread as evidence) it would be far less conspicuous to hide a "UFO" under a tarp rather than in plain sight.

That, I don't know. Shame we didn't get to hear the audio, it might have told us why. But I think there could be more to this story. Those people had to believe they were seeing something out of the ordinary.

Reports of loud bangs, and, apparently, it being much more than just a police escort, are interesting, at least.

I have to call BS on this one. If it were real... wouldn't the gov at the very least cover the thing up? I mean, we all know how vapid our officials can be but...

I tried to address this in my post.
Who's to say they DIDN'T try to cover it up but it melted? or they COULDN'T put one over because of a field around it, radiation or not enough time tog get it out from wherever.. maybe there were lil green men inside dying and had to be transported out.. there a lot of plausible reasons why..
Also, if you aren't prepared for transporting something down the highway in such a fashion and you don't have the proper equipment and or hooks, a tarp that size is a HUGE sail and would just rip off anyway. that is A LOT of surface area to cover and to cover quickly, safely and with durability for road travel.

the only sort of tarps I see covering things up of that size are on boats and those "tarps" are form fitting to avoid becoming a large sail. Or you see tarps that are walls on the side of trucks. otherwise a tarp is usually no bigger than a 10x10, extremely bungeed down and not intended for long distance.

This looks to be AT LEAST 30ft long thing which means a 40+foot long tarp.. talk about a sail.

This is all based on a scenario that it's either a military or "other" origin craft.
Witnesses that were there said it was so I'd have to at least give the witnesses the benefit of the doubt until it's further corroborated.

A thought just hit me while I was making a report, Where's the heck is the " WIDE LOAD" sign???
There is always a wide load sign on ALL large transports!!! Very incriminating if you ask me.

The thing I find interesting about these photos is that when I first looked at them I couldn't see the "saucer shaped object" at all. I was staring at them for a while trying to work out where the UFO was supposed to be. It was only when it was pointed out to me that I saw it. Now I can see it easily and don't understand why I missed it originally.

Anyone who has made their mind up 100% is in the most danger of ever being wrong on important issues IMHO.

I mean, of course I am heavily leaning towards "prop, man made equipment, mundane something or other", BUT to rest 100% sure that all is simple and dried is a very risky stance to take on anything (again, IMHO).

It may be easy to just make up your mind on this without being presented full evidence or research in to it since its "fantastical", but I do think its bad practice.

Start building up pathways in your brain to make "snap judgment calls" on things, and you could be setting yourself up for disaster down the road (or worse).

I guess I refuse to make my mind up until it is almost impossible not to.

But that's just me.

Good thing about it is, it seems to limit the events where I have to man-up and say-

"Yup, I was totally wrong and shouldn't have jumped to conclusions"

All love.

Yes a saucer indeed.

You can see police cars in the second picture. And the quoted text also says that they were blocking off on ramps and such?

Either the police in Dallas have nothing better to do than drive a truck around with something resembling a UFO, or this is indeed something from another world?

Im not saying that this is for sure an alien craft.. But the evidence points that way.

It's just a wide load being transported at night with a police escort, it happens hundreds of times every day around the world.
Just think about it, if a ufo landed on or around that highway the military wouldnt just pop it onto the back of a flatbed truck and haul it down the highway uncovered. There would be a huge quarantine in the area while it was scanned for radiation and disease and things of that nature.

And this, my friend, is exactly why they DO it that way. Because then people will say what you say.

They transported it like this because people dont expect it too be and people will say "well if its real they would not have transported it in plain sight"

What if they did hide it in a container or a tarp or quarantine? then people would really believe it is real. Now nobody does because they dont expect the government to do it like this.

And maybe the start of the production of Batlle in LA was the reason they just transported it in open sight. Maybe someone in charge said "Hey, this alien ufo movie is gonna be in production so lets just transport it uncovered so if people start asking questions we say its a prop from that movie"

Hiding it in plain sight. The best way to hide something.

This was exactly what i was thinking after i saw that post, haha!

If they cover it up, people ask questions. If you 'hide it in plain site' people will dismiss it as a prop or ground drilling machinery.

Once again i must make myself clear: I have no come to any conclusions.. I just follow the evedence.

1. 100's of people saw it, and reported it.
2. After ONE call to a local radio, the whole joint was shut down.
3. It looks like a quick job. Like 'it' has crashed and they are transporting it as fast as possible. Otherwise they would have used some sort of cargo heli, or at lease covered it up.

Who knows? Maybe it crashed in a neighborhood?

I can't believe I missed it.

I sure hope there weren't any ambulances involved in this convoy.
I'd hate to think that Parkland Hospital is now also treating the real ALIENS on my dime.

Upon reading i thought maybe it was some sort of public stunt. Who just drives a UFO down the road without even attempting to cover it?

But from the amount of police folling/patrolling the truck it seems this could almost be real.

Your right.....either the US military is incredibly dumb or thats not a UFO. My bet would be on the latter, even though I want it to be genuine.

By the way, its sort of looks like a swimming pool or something. The lights of the cars resemble wide load vehicles, rather than police. And I know for a fact thats its not unusual for highway police to escort large loads. In fact I saw two escorting slow moving, heady laden vehicles when I moved up here to Woomera,

A pool yes, a spa is even more likely since its shape?

Not too sure, like i said.. Could be anything!

The first thing and most logical is to call the heavy Haulage company and ask them what was the load being carried.

the Guy who took the photo's must of seen the company name on the truck.
specialty heavy haulage operators always have their names on their vehicles.
well they do here in Australia.

Thanks

my guess is a movie prop. That or it has nothing at all to do with a ship. Perhaps large pieces to a simple earthly machine , with normal earthly function. The lack of secrecy says a lot.

The fact that you think there is a lack of secrecy says alot, this is being shut down by the media from all sides, completely denied and ignored.

Oh yeah, NOTHING strange and UFO related going on in Woomera.

Who you kidding?

I have been contacted by MUFON's rapid response team. I will be meeting with them tonight to discuss the case.

Ok let me point out the fallacy that is the security argument.

Take these two hypothetical cases.

This event takes place only you see the truck with this object covered in a tarp with men with guns around it. Would you think there was a little more going on?

Say hypothetically this is a real UFO. We see it in plain sight and uncovered / unprotected. We think, oh there isn't a tarp its gotta be some sort of industrial machinery or something. In a case like this, it would be much easier to keep it a secret out in plain sight.
