I think it's a fake. The shadows coming from the orbs are very clear, yet i see no shadow being made by the chimneys.

And they do look a bit shakey when hovering in one place.

well good job guy's.
That is the power plant..
So we know he is lying on the first part saying it was west Virginia.

So is the video it'self faked?

Btw i watched the video in super slow motion i see a reflection on the water a very very faint one.

But i thought he ment a shadow

I also noticed there is 1 blank frame in the video is that normal?

The shadows even seem to deform because of objects.... Can you do that with CGI? (real question, not trying to be sarcastic)

The Hitler Foo/Phoos still around.
Thats impossible.
The last tail gunner I knew must have died years ago, if only
he could seen the Foos again.
Yeah folks, the Tesla craft is here.

Neat video...

If it is CGI, though I'm no expert, I'd say it's quite well done. I lean towards CGI because of what Armap pointed out (good find on the shaking orb).

Gonna use some logical analysis here:

If it is CGI, I really like what the creator did with the shadows; they seem to map the topography of the land as well. Initially the shadows seemed like they were out of place, but after looking at the video more closely, I would guess that this was filmed sometime between 11am and 1pm given how the trees/house cast their shadows. Correspondingly, I can't say if the orbs' shadows are dead on, but they definitely aren't dramatically out of place.

The filming, is at least consistent. Although it seems to show two different shots, the shadows are the same indicating that it was shot the same time of day. I don't think it's too far to assume it WAS the same day given the similarity of the lighting.

So, it's an authentic video, but whether or not the orbs were added is legitimately debatable.

Is it's NOT CGI, well, there's not a damn way to tell.

This is a good example of poorly made cgi

One needs to work with programs like C4D to understand, but the orbs seem to be overlayed on the video. Another big give away is the shadow, which is perfectly below the orbs, while the trees are casting a shadow down and to the right at an angle. At that altitudw the shadow should be somewhat further off, definitely not below the orbs.

just my 2 cents, i call fake.

Yes, of course. Just make some 3D objects simulating trees and ground..

Well, not only Cinema

I think it is CGI.

Why?

Because of the way they move. Just read lots of older witness reports and you'll see that they move in a more radical and sudden behaviour. They move too "soft", much like "Star Wars/Trek"-spaceships.
This footage is without witnesses too good to be true!

ok.... thats pretty goood footage unless its some kind crap CGI sillyness

so can anyone debunk this ??? the shadows look pretty good and uniform

Yes but look at the angle of the shadows from the tree tops and buildings in last few seconds shadow angle from orbs looks way out CGI!!!

I am CG proficient..sorta my jerb.

Anyhow, you can basically make amazing things in CG...you can blur the lines of reality and fantasy.
Something like Truespace can produce results that will make you a believer in just about anything.

Now, the question is where did the origin of the footage come from, and what their backround is...
Things like the shadows are tricky (I assume its why the person cropped into it to show the shadows travelling 0n the landscape nicely), and when the thing was filmed behind the smoke from the smokestack...thats a exceptionally tricky shot to build.
I would say this film can easily be CG, but by a very sophisticated creator. Now, I create things and I will be damned if I am going to create something without my signature in there to use as a resume of sorts...its not a 3 second job to create good stuff.

I am tempted to say its unlikely its CG, but thats because I fail to see the point in creating hours upon hours of work getting all the pixel movements right just to randomly post anonymously to cloud a field without a signature in there...so, the trick is to look elsewhere in the films for any out of place symbols or crafty names put in...

Unfortunately, seeing (video footage) is no longer believing. Pity CGI packages arent still in the absurd pricerange..now anyone can download and start hobby creations that can look pretty good.

I guess you did not saw my small slow motion video of one of the "orbs" shacking back and forth after leaving exiting the vapour cloud, those movements were far from good.

And I have wasted many, many hours doing things (programs) that nobody ever sees, but I use that as training in specific areas.

Yes: those left/right images you posted are not of the same plant. Photo on left shows the short smokestack next to it. The photo on right shows the short smokestack as the farthest away. There is no way to arrange that regardless of perspective.

I only posted the Google Earth image, I did not posted any left/right photo, I suppose you are confusing me with kinda kurious, he was the one posting two photos side by side.

And although I was wrong (it's not a question of perspective, although I thought at the time it could be), the two photos show the same thing, the problem is that the photo posted by kinda kurious and Mintwithahole. is mirrored.

What do you think now?

Indeed. Never mind that perspective can't account for the differences, or that the main stack looks nothing like the one in the video, it also doesn't have a HUGE BUILDING sat behind it.

If you look closely you can see the building you refer to. There are all sorts of buildings in this plant the problem is that some of them are hidden behind the smoke stacks.
I searched long and hard and this is the only plant that fits the picture.

Good Video.

I have personally seen two of these Orbs.

One while on my balcony.

I saw the other one in a parking lot.

I think they could be Plasma lifeforms, probes or us before or after death. I notice these Orbs in ghost sightings as well.

The power plant is at new Haven, the Mountaineer Plant as someone has already posted. I was on Google Earth for ages looking for it.

I can render a realistic Millennium Falcon in about a week w/ GPU power.

Then I'll put that on a vid, and bam.

anyone with half a brain can see that those stacks are not in the same order as the ones in the video and the building is bigger in the image as well..the arrangement does not match at all

To be honest, the smoke in the video is an easy shot. He just has to fade the object into the frames. Just check the frames and see how it just fades, the smoke has a pretty smooth flow of thickness.

Edit: And ofcourse the fixation of the video poster on the shadows. Why would he do that other then misled the viewer that the shadows are sort off right? Like, see how much time i spend on making those
