My mum was at the Windermere Air Show on Saturday 25th July 2009 and was snapping photos of the planes when she noticed an anomaly in one the pictures
upon looking at the photos she had snapped.
It could be a plane but it does look very odd indeed.
Take a look and see what you think, I'd be grateful if any of the image analysis people here at ATS, internos - I'm looking at you here - amongst
others, may be able to do something with it.
I've had to resize the image as the original is too big to put on ATS media but here's the exif data anyway:

Thanks for the input so far guys, it's much appreciated. From the enhancements, I'm pretty sure it's not a plane. It looks round to me - and my mum
who is sat next to me. She doesn't even know what a CGI hoax is so I had to explain. AWwwwww.
Would a bird look that round? She's managed to get some pictures with birds on in the same location and they are all clear as day - even when they
are not the focus of the image.
Regarding bugs - it's definitely a possibility.
Good ol' UFOlogy - home of the blurry image - unless it's CGI'd.
You probably need a special filter to get through the haze.
Perhaps a one man UFO.
The dark ether must be from more powerful coils.
The fire ball foo era must be gone.
The tip-off is "She didn't notice it at the time." We don't notice birds most of the time, and certainly not if they happen to fly into the frame
when we take the photo.
Looks like a bug to me. Was probably closer to the camera than the planes, making it lens blurred along with slight motionblur due to it being close.
When objects are close they only need to travel a short distance to cover the view angle of the lens in opposed to being 300 feet away.
I really need to make a copy and paste action, from another thread
Here it is:
BUGS or BIRDS. USSUALLY BUGS
...and technical phenomenons regarding capturing images.
...and people not knowing those technical stuff.
Bugs filmed during the day.
Bugs can appear long and short.
Bugs can appear white or black. (depending on ilumination and bacground brightness)
Bugs can appear colored or translucid.
Bugs can appear moving straight or doing fast turns.
Bugs are a very likely occurence. Just 2 holidays not hunting them and i have already a big collection.

(later edit: now i see i have some broken links in my free site... ussually links to the original pictures, which where too big for my primary used
picture sharing site, imageshack.us, and therefore posted at picfu.com, which..lost them )
Damn those BUGS. It really can puzzle your brain...
p.s. all the animations are slowned down at half or third of real speed, because using GIF format.
what can I say? An fabulous post there, which I think settles it that this is indeed, a bug. Thank you.
I hope that a mod gave you some applause for that.
Thank you,
I'll still pop the pic on the other site Armap mentions when I can though, not speaking to my dad at the moment so avoiding going around til they are
out.
Rods in the sky yet that is more saucer.
Saucer pilots like air events.
You kidding they were once pilots of man's inferior craft.
Also they might pick up some good navigational aids.
