Wow - Taser happy Police - Grandfather and Pregnant Woman Tasered at Kids Babtism Party.

I hear about Police being tasering happy - it seems they really go to extremes at times. The times there are videos - shows the truth of the matter - what about all those times there are not videos?

Video is of a party for the babtism of 2 small children and the party had many small children there. It was not a wild teenagers party - but a kids party.

Someone called the police because of the noise coming from the party (give me a break - kids can be loud - but calling the police over kids having fun?) It does not say that was the reason - but seeing all the kids in the video - I could guess that, it was the reason it was so noisy.

So the police show up - the video has the rest.

I would like to say something to the Police.
I want to tell you about a friend of mine. I know him very well. Nowadays, the Police seem to think that they can do whatever they like without impunity. Well if they were ever to unnecessarily tazer (or mistreat ) my friend in any way let me tell you what he would do. (Only if this was unwarranted, if he was out of order, he would just accept it).

He would not go up against the Police but he would find out the Officer concerned. He would wait no matter how long it took and one day when the officer does not have all of his protection, my friend would smash his skull in. There is no doubt about that. Then he would burn his house down. My friend, and I know him very well, has many friends just like himself who will do exactly the same.

So Mr Police, I am not saying I approve such a thing but I hope you run into my friend sometime....

We can't come to a conclusion by that YouTube clip. The tape shown shows 2 seconds of the grandad and the cops and then cuts to them both being carried away.

I would like to see the middle part before coming to a conclusion. Its only fair to both parties.

No matter whatever happened, the pig that tazered the pregnant woman deserves to be given to the family for 5 minutes.

If the woman that was in the red dress is the pregnant one then I can see how they wouldn't know. I wouldn't have known if the reporter didn't say a pregnant lady was also tazered and arrested.

Another incident of police acting 'stupidly.' A man has the right to be drunk and disorderly in his own home. To the noise complaint problem, a warning can be issued and the cop needs to turn around and leave. Questioning someone for their identity, when the noise was caused by a large party smacks of profiling and police using their authority inappropriately.

These cops are should learn to be tough with a warning rather than creating incidents between citizens and the officers.

You don't know what happened. You heard two stories, lets wait until we see the complete video before we jump to conclusions.

I'm going off what the news caster said regarding statements made by law enforcement, and the fact that they were on their own property. Law enforcement said 'He failed to identify himself' as the reason to Taser him. Not to mention did the pregnant woman fail to show ID too when they were all having a party in their own backyard?

He was also acting disorderly and was intoxicated.

What that could mean varies. Like I said they have it on tape. Don't you think its wise to see that paticular piece of evidence before we start throwing out accusastions?

Why they only showed the first few seconds and the last few seconds have me interested in what went on in between.

I guess you've got to be careful what you post about police. I posted about the grandpa, pregnant woman, but also about a RAPEST COP.

He raped 3 girls, and 4 COWS.

Somehow that got yanked not because obscenity, but not "ATS" worthy. It's in BTS now.

I guess cop news is only important when they tazer; not rape.
