And I take it from your earlier post that you're going with OBL dying from natural causes rather than being murdered as stated by Benazir Bhutto? I don't have strong feelings either way. All the censorship (referred to in my previous post) indicates is that the UK PTB wants us to think he's still alive.

I'm rather drawn to Bhutto's version, simply because it's got some specifics in and it's from a high profile source you'd expect to have access to the information. What's your angle on OBL's death?

it's all about the money
alot of wealthy people make money off of wars. the WEST needs bad guys to fight against to support the continued creation of weapons and war matierial. if the american people didn't think we had a bad guy to fight that threatened us with death, there would be calls to scale back the military budget dramatically. billions of dollars would be appropiated somewhere else and defense contractor companies would cut back.
while there are legitimate concerns for national defense, the US spends more on the military than the rest of tthe world COMBINED!! in other words, we could cut the military budget in half to 270 billion a year and still be spending TRIPLE what the #2 country spends.

there would be alot of very pissed off billionaires losing vast sums of money...and that my friends is a deadly combination. you and i are but a speck of dust on the sole of their shoes, and they will go to any lengths to avoid those kinds of losses.

I think Usama was dying from advanced kidney disease, but it is quite possible somebody stepped in and hurried up the process. However the Bush Regime needed Usama alive as a bonafide boogeyman to frighten the sheeple.

Bhutto may have just been protecting his image. It is much more dignified for an imagined great powerful leader to be murdered, than to helplessly die in a bed hooked up to a machine.

Is the US government obligated to tell us that bin Laden is dead? They have no proof because the tradition of Islam is that a muslim burial must take place with specific order. That doesn't include notifying the US or anyone else of the event. Further, bin Laden dead doesn't make the threat of terrorism go away. Still there are thousands of AQ operatives ready to fill empty positions in leadership.

Now there are some people who will say the the US government is at fault for everything. If those people would actually take some time to do a little research instead of spreading hysteria then it might be of some value.

Fact is: AQ still exists, leadership equal to bin Laden is in place. AQ isn't going away. AQ wants to kill Americans and will continue to do so. We are all at risk, especially post 2010.

It is indeed glorious for a muslim to be martyred. Then they go to heaven where they are presented 72 virgins. But unlike Western tradition, Islamic death is a private issue and without fancy funerals with flowers and viewings, and ceremony and parades and such.
Again, bin Laden is buried in Pakistan. Bhutto was assassinated by AQ with the ever present assistance from the ISI.

If you do some research on Kalid Shiek Mohammed you will find that he was captured in an ISI safe house. The mastermind of 911 was being protected by the Pakistani government. KSM beheaded Daniel Pearl because of this knowledge.
The ISI also assisted the AQ bombers of Mumbai. This will eventually lead India to take action against their neighbor.

Conspiracy is fun, but usually an indication that the surface is being skimmed. Dig deeper and the truth is there. But that takes alot of work... so don't be lazy.
