Mysterious cuts that appear overnight.

I've had this happen to me as well, quite a few times actually, Just recently I ended up with a 'mark' it wasn't really a cut but more of a couple of layers of skin peeling off of my hand (Quite a small mark) I was sat on my bed and there's nothing I could have cut it on, I don't know when it happened but it just started stinging while I was sat on my bed playing xbox 360, so obviously my hands weren't touching anything as it's on the outside of my hand and I was holding the pad.

Yes, they did scar. It's definitely more than a scratch, and I'm not assuming it's paranormal; this doesn't happen all the time. BUT I've never EVER ever been seen sleepwalking. You don't know me irl so don't assume that you know what's up, mkay? When people sleep walk, they usually do they things they do while awake, such as washing their hands (when they're not even at the sink), eating imaginary food, etc. I don't cut myself though. Good day.

You post here so you obviously want our opinion and mine is that you sleep walk.

It could be a demon or a ghost doing this. The marks on your arm that doesn't look like you did them yourself looks to be initials. If I was you I would study the history of your house and find out if anyone died violently inside.

If you find someone has then there is your problem and you need to find out why it is mad at you.

If it is a demon then I suggest an exorcism or just moving.

Actually I wanted something more than amateur skepticism such as yours . I mean, if you're going to be a d-bag, then why make yourself look like an idiot in the process? Notice how I don't flame the person who said that it might be a skin disorder? That's because I think that that is plausible, not to mention her post was less blunt and abrasive as yours. Seriously, you could have just said "It's probably sleepwalking." instead of "It's sleepwalking. F U, go see a psychologist.".

Never told you to go see a psychiatrist, but now that you brought it up you might benefit from a trip.

But hey I'm not the one who thinks a skin disease is more plausible then sleep walking so what do I know.

I used to wake up with cuts and scratches, and I dunno if this has been mentioned or not but check your matress.

I realised soon after inspecting my matress that I was being scratched by broken springs or stray pieces of metal. Now these are quite hard to find and obviously only show up when you put your weight on the matress, hence the scratches appearing after sleeping.

Go have a look and it'd be worth flipping your matress over, see if the cuts and scratches appear after that.

You say that your house is creepy. Can you expand on that a little bit? If we take a step back from the scratches for a minute, can you tell us if anything else strange or abnormal is happening in your house? When did you move into this house? Have guests actually got scratches staying in your home? Have there been previous paranormal experiences in the home? I apologize for the 20 questions but I got the feeling from your OP you suspect maybe something paranormal.

i have a little story about this.

i got a scar about 12 years ago, when I was 7 (still have it), from what i remember to be a very minor, superficial cut. somehow i've always felt like it was an implanted memory and the cut actually came from a surgery done on me in my sleep.

I have had something similar happen, except my scratch was on my face, and quite deep. The strange thing was that it happened to me 4 times. Twice about a year ago, and twice just a month ago... It seems to come in waves, and the scratch is in the same exact place every time. I now have a pretty bad scar there.

This last time it actually woke me me up because the side of my face was burning. I assume that I must somehow be doing it to myself, however I do find it strange that it seems to come in waves of two with long spans of time passing without any cuts. And, of course that it is in the exact same spot every time. Also, I'm a fairly light sleeper, so I would think something like this would wake me up, but who knows.

I just wanted to say that my scratches also comes in waves. I have had them for one year, but one month I hade no one. Then it started again. My scratches are smaller now and I get them on my hands and feet. But my daughters are bigger, and she has got them on legs, arms and in her face.

First I was scarred, now I only get real angry when it happens. I think that has helped

I really would like to know when this started for you? Did you move to another house?

It started about a year ago for me. It happened a couple of times in a matter of weeks and then stopped for just about a year. During that time I had no incidents...Then about a month ago it happened again, and a week later, again. This years cuts were directly over the scar from last years cuts. On the side of my face between my eye and temple.

I am living in a house I have been in for 3 years, so when the first occurence took place it would have been my second year in the house. I've changed bedrooms a few times, but I can't remember if last years happened in the same room I sleep in now or a different one.

The house had been vacant for a year before we moved in. The previous owner was an older gentleman who had passed away. We did get a feeling in one room that we did not like, hence the changing of the rooms a few times, but that feeling has since passed. My most recent incident did not occur in this particular room. Can't remember for last year.

I still think that me cutting myself is the most "rational" explanation, and yet at the same time that doesn't satisfy me....

That's some seriously creepy stuff man. I would for sure set up a surveylance cam or something of that nature. I would be going out of my mind to discover the cause of this. It's your body! Somethin seriously wrong is going on. Best of luck. Keep us updated
