How many times do I have to see that video...?

Yes, it's a fake.

This is called "The McPherson Tape." It was about a family that was celebrating a birthday when they caught the aliens on camera. It details the last time the family was seen, alluding that the aliens took them.

Later on, UPN made a similar "movie," where they showed it on their network about a UFO landing, and as the family members went to find it, they disappeared.

At the end of the film, the aliens were seen on camera and then camera goes blank.

Now, when the UPN video was shown to being only a that, a video, most people then thought that the McPherson tape was the true thing.

In reality, the McPherson Tape is also just a fake.

So, no, it's a hoax. A good one at that, but in the end, nothing more.

I believe I've seen this many times before. I think its a remake of a supposed real video? A made for tv thing? Something like that. I don't know its always confused me what exactly it is cause I've heard like 50 different stories.

I do admit, I've always found it interesting, call me gullible. I don't care.

Peace

Yep, Mak explained it much better than I. This is the same stuff I've heard about the video too.

Hoax! I do admit its interesting to watch though, although I don't encourage hoaxes. Hoaxes are the last thing we need.

I wouldnt call the tape a hoax, it was a film. I dont think that it was intended to be taken for the real thing. If you have watched the film completely, seems to me it was like 70 mins or so, you can tell pretty early on that it is scripted talk. People just dont talk that way.

Hoax NO, Film Yes. blair witch style

Alright fine, it's not a hoax.

Though, in the end, it's not true.

Its not the original tape. I got a chance to see the original a few years ago and it was taken off of youtube almost immediately. I'm sure other people on this site can confirm the real tape is done with far less quality.

Does it mean the original is real? Well no, but you'd have to see it for yourself. Its unsettling for sure.

Unsettling or not, it's still a film.

I can be scared watching a movie; doesn't mean it's the real thing.

In this case, it's not the real thing.

Well that's what I said isn't it?

I also said that I think you should see the original video (not this one), in order to make any claims against it.

No, I know you what you meant. I just saying the same thing.

And yes, I've seen the full video. Actors make convincing people sometimes.

Well the reenactment is obviously not real, but the original footage is still unexplained to my knowledge. I will say that I personally am a little skeptical of the fake, mask look of the "aliens", although this is a still open case, I wonder if it was possibly a government op? There are many rumors of "false flag" alien abductions carried out by the government. I mean I just have a hard time (with what footage is available) with the appearance of these aliens.

No, both of them are just movies. Neither is true.

Ok, that's the one I saw in it's entirety. I was confused for a minute there, looking at the clip in the OP because the actors were different than the ones in the movie I watched but it looked like the exact same thing

Anyways, here's the whole thing if anyone wants to see it. It's pretty good entertainment in the vein of Blair Witch.

Please stop.

This case is not "still open" nor is the original footage still unexplained. This has been discussed ad nauseum here in the forums, explained again and again. What the OP watched is the original video.

You can tell it is the original by contrasting the events in the films. For instance, in the McPherson Tape, they are celebrating the little girl's birthday; in the remake they are celebrating Thanksgiving. The houses are different. The first encounter with the aliens is different; in the original, they see them coming out of the spaceship, in the remake they are killing a cow. In the McPherson Tape the family kills an alien outside and carries it through the house; in the remake, the alien is killed in a bathroom and left there. The ending of the videos is different; the OP's video ends with the aliens walking through the house and everything going to static; in the remake, the aliens do enter the house, but from a different angle, then start shepherding the remaining family members out before things go to static.

On top of all of this, the creator of both videos, Dean Alito has discussed and admitted to the first video being just a movie.

To conclude, what the OP posted is the original and contrary to what other people have claimed in this thread, the original has not been taken off YouTube.
