its a medium range fighter the f22 isnt
the f23 is larger aka can hold more fuel, has bigger engines wich means larger speed
also it had a larger munitions capacity than the f22
so not speaking technically its better armed but speaking technically there the same
i thought u agreed ,cool, that the f23 was better than the f22?

God, where do you get those facts?
from the ATS forum on this and thier sites
Those facts are wrong.
First of all the YF-23 actually held less fuel than the F/A-22 does. This was to accomodate all of the test equipment.
then y does it have a larger range ?
In theory, it had longer range. It was never tested for sure.
Second, it had the same friggin engines. There was a competition between two manufacturers. Both engines were tested on both aircraft and the winner was selected to power the F/A-22.
really try looking on the ATS forum proved worng by multiple sources
You'll have to point that one out since I have never seen it here before. Were you even alive when all of this was going on?
Third, it had the same weapons carrying ability. It had to meet the same requirement as the then YF-22 had to.
really ? then the fact its bigger that it coud hold larger amounts means what? it has a lot of bouyancy?
Have you actually seen the proposed weapons load out for the YF-23? It carries the same internal load as the YF-22 did.
Fourth, I did think the YF-23 was cooler based solely on all other things being equal it was to have a smaller radar cross section and I thought it looked cooler. It also was slightly better for the possibilty of making it carrier capable.
no i didnt mean it like that cool i meant i thought u agreed wi me ?
