Hmm, very good find.

What worries me about technologies like this is that it won't be long before governments use it against their own people to suppress dissent. Even if the US and Western governments remain accountable, there are plenty of other governments who do not have such checks and balances in place who will definitely abuse it.

Basically its just another way of controlling the 'unruly' masses of sheep!
I wonder how much tax payers money was used in the development of this new weaponry?

Its like the great Bill Hicks once said "Take all the money that we spend on weapons and defence each year, instead spend it on feeding, clothing and educating the poor of the world which it would many times over, not one human being excluded"

Can anyone provide a link that has all of the specs of this machine laid out?

I saw the videos, but I was looking for something a little more detailed.

Did anyone catch the temperature of the heat that this thing sends out?

Edit to add: Laugh all you want, but I am wondering if you have just figured out how crop circles are made...... this would account for all of the heat readings, microwaved plant nodes, etc.....

Seems to me that the middle east will be/or is the Pentagon's guinea pigs!

Just like many countries in the east are big pharma's guinea pigs, allowing them to save billions on R&D!

I wonder if there's any material that can deflect or reduce effect of microwave beam.

The article says a "volunteer" was hospitalized with 2nd degree burns. More typical Americana. How can any American be PROUD to be an American when our government spends OUR money on horrific gadgets such as this? Am I unpatriotic because I do not see the need for more WMDs created by the US that later on down the road will somehow end up in the hands of a nation we are at war with, or will "accidently" misfire and fry innocents like a South Carolinian Thanksgiving turkey? Is not our goal to better mankind and bring peace to all realms of the planet? Instead we continue to sit idly by and watch our taxes fund weapons that are not neccessary. Hey PTB, if you didnt piss us off on a daily basis and lie to us then maybe you wouldnt have to worry about riots and revolutions!! How about thinking of the working man,woman for once instead of pampering Big Corporation, which btw wouldnt exist if it WERE NOT for the working man,woman! They ALWAYS, ALWAYS develop weapons that cause pain to 'unruly crowds'.

Why can't they for once develop a 'weapon' that actually causes a happy event?

Or failing that an 'annoying' weapon that everyone wants to get away from?

Like a Cliff Richard speaker system or somethng, lift music up full blast or something.

I'm sure the 'unruly' masses would rather appreciate a rain of gummy bears or flower petals and walk away happy , other than be 'unruly' , get angrier as the 'weapon' causes pain then have to keep attacking until they've either destroyed the 'weapon' or been shot and killed as they got too close to the operator?

If I were in an 'unruly' crowd I wouldn't stick around if it started raining soiled underpants, but I think I'd be angry if it caused me pain, I'd seek out a way to stop the pain which would probably involve destroyng asid pain weapon.

Mmm....yeah I can't see this being misused in any way (embed sarcasm). Take tasers for example. This reminds me of something mentioned in the bible about the sting of a scorpion that would inflict pain for 5 months. Sometimes I wonder if that prophesy wasn't talking about these types of weapons being used on people.

holy cripes, have you any idea what that thing will do to you if you're wearing a tinfoil hat? have you ever seen what happens to metal in a microwave oven, ah man, this is just designed to blow our minds.

seriously, shouldn't take long for a counter microwave material to be developed, i don't think it's difficult to shield from microwaves.
