No, they are publicly announcing a sale to try to get rid of it. Had someone with money expressed interest in buying this, they would not be on the net trying to sell. It's a private company so it is not a case where they would need to open it up to bids.

I was never impressed with web bot. Like alot of people who make predictions they take liberties and take credit for things that didnt happen.
Im begining to think that no one can predict the future.

Web bot was invented to scam gullible retards into handing over their money. The guy who created this scam is very creative and intelligent. It looks like most people got wise though and stopped giving him money. This is why he is "selling" his "business".

I've been reading urbansurvival.com and watching the webbots for some time. I think they've realized that their 15 minutes is up. they are continually "stretching" to make their predictions fit, and the wheels are falling off. the timing is too convenient...

I do think it would be interesting to get everyone to donate a few bucks so we could purchase and then open source all the code . it's probably just a bunch of junk anyways, but i'd love to see what's going on in there.

Out of curiosity, is it an ATS mandate that the reports can only be put in RATS or just a personel choice? And if so why?

They go in RATS I guess for immunity of ridicule from the general ATS community, although the only place they really belong should be in their own sub forum (if one was created) or in the HOAX section

I do agree with you %100, and i know that the excuse is its out of public view and therefore wont corrupt the bot which should be one of the first alarms , but i think you are more on the right track with public ridicule surely that must get tiring after a while. But that seems to be the choice of the person posting it. Is it ATS decision aswell, surely they dont care about corrupting a computer program or is it a case of being afraid of the big bad copyright monster?. Surely somebody can post a report wherever they like, plus it annoys the UrbS guys.

This article was posted just two days ago. One of the most frightening claims of the 7/20 Web bot(not going into the legitimacy of them, just the claims) is the one talking about an Israeli bombing on Iran in late October. Yes, rhetoric like this has always, and will always continue between these countries and maybe I have read too many doom and gloom pieces in the past, but I really don't want to end up like the poor old man and his wife from When the Wind Blows and die of radiation poisoning... Except if the event DID happen, it wouldn't just be a small countryside area in the UK, it would travel across the jet stream and infect millions or more....
