Saw VI Trailer. Saw VII Confirmed?

The trailer for Saw VI is out. I thought #6 was going to be the last one but there's a page for Saw VII on IMDb.

The movies are very cheap to make and rake in the cash at both the box office and DVD sales. They probably have a multi-picture deal with the distributors of the movies.

There will be a Saw VII as they start working on the next one before the latest sequel is released.

I can't WAITTTTT!!!!!!!



But I'll have to watch it with my boyfriend. I can't watch those movies without him there. I tried once, it was awful, and it was one I had seen before.

Ok I admit it--I'm sick

I loooove the SAW movies, although the first one was the best ---the twist at the end was awesome.
Did'nt see that one comin !!!

For some reason, they like to class each 3 consecutive movies as seperate Trilogies.
They've had plans to do VII, VIII and IX for quite some time, (Through the grape vine) and it makes sense if they want to round up this whole trilogy thing. Three Trilogies, (it should be called a Sawga).

I think it's a really good thing that they are already working on VII, it means that they have ideas to connect things in the stories without leaving it until the last minute to make connections.
It means they have plans already laid out, and I think thats a great thing to do.

Did anyone see the 2 minute Carousel Trap trailer, it's not too spoilerish, (it introduces us to the seemingly main victim) and just sets a great tone for things to come in the full movie.

You should be able to find it on youtube somewere, Lionsgate released it then took it away, some people have it saved though.

Has anyone seen the movie yet? I went to the show on Wednesday to see it. It was really good. I thought it was the best sequel Saw has had since Saw II.

The first two were really good, but the subsequent ones are really lacking something.... Still decent, but would be nice if they could rekindle the magic somewhat.... I'll still see it though...

If you watched 2-6 one right after another, they make more sense and it's just like one big movie.

I really thought that the good DR. was going to come back for this one.
I guess he will be reserved for the next one or the franchise ending, which better be frigging good.

James Wan? Saw 1
Darren Lynn Bousman? Saw's 2 3 4
David Hackyl? Saw 5 and will be directing Saw 7.
Kevin Greutert? Saw 6.

If you ask me the best directer would be James Wan.
And I wouldn't ever expect him to direct another one but it would be Sawsome if he did the finale, and Leigh Whannel writes it.

It would be cool for some closure on Dr.G, did you ever spot the limping man doing the eye surgery in Saw 2?

Am I the only person getting a little bit tired of the Saw movies? The first ones were great, and admittedly, the newer ones aren't bad at all. I guess I'm just getting tired of the same variations on the same theme. I want something new and exciting to happen with Saw, or for the creators to move onto a new project with the same psychological gore-filled horror.

Have you seen "The Collecter" directed by Marcus Dunstan, written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, writers of the Saw series.


You are not the only one to get bored or not like the series but since Saw IV things have changed. (all to do with Hoffman) I won't spoil anything though.
