Hi there MD!
S'n-word': i'm a nurse so thats a joke around me!!!
Wow...sorry, energiser bunny because of coffee!!
The answer to your question is this:
The 'Spanish Lady' was a very nasty bug that came into the civilised world around 700 years ago in china. In 1598, a group of monks were travelling
around mainland Spain carrying merchandise from Chinese gypsys and unknowingly, they were carrying rats that had been infected with this disease that
orginated from somewhere near the city of Madrid.
As the monks travelled, selling the goods, they passed on the disease and within six months over 234 thousand people in the Mediterean were dead!
To this day, very little is known about the virus and how it was contracted and what the symtoms where. In 1875, when the monestry near Madrid borders
were being re-built; they discovered masses of Codex's all about a mysterious virus that wiped out thousands of people in a 20 year epidemic that
almost killed everyone, but mysteriously disappeared! :
When i find the links for it at work, i'll post them to you!
