Believe me i'm glad to see so many caught on as to why i made these threads. I'm also very surprised to see so many do not have the slightest idea of what is going on here.....

Peace

Yes, I see that too. Kinda funny, yet kinda sad. I wasted my time on one of the crop circle threads asking the same question over and over, not one person responded to it. All I wanted was for them to acknowledge the fact that tons of money is made by the people who sell tours to them. Apparently that still doesn't matter. Were all gonna die, it's written in the wheat. In Wiltshire.

here's an other interesting article i found which confirms what i have been saying about this island

Mega-tsunami returns

The researchers claim that the western flank of the Cumbre Vieja volcano might be caused to cave in after an eruption, sending a huge mass of rock, twice the size of the Isle of Man, crashing into the sea and unleashing an immense tsunami which would fan out across the Atlantic at speeds of up to 800 kmph. After 10 minutes, the wall of water would have moved almost 250 kilometres. The other Canaries and the West Saharan shore would be worse affected with waves of 100 metres from crest to trough. Florida and the Caribbean would be hit by waves of 50 metres some 8 to 9 hours after the landslide. Brazil would be hit by waves as high as 40 m. The Atlantic coasts of Spain, Portugal, France and Britain, would also be affected by waves as high as 10 metres. Damage would clearly be in trillions, though its true extent is unsure as this would greatly depend on the 'inundation distance' - the distance the waves penetrate inland. The group expect this happen to happen sometime in the next few thousand years.
The Guardian newspaper reported the event in jocular sensational mode (" Mega-tsunami to devastate US cities "), quoting the leader of the team, Prof McGuire who was clearly out there with his begging bowl.

This random posting of articles is in no way a cover up to shamelessly bump my thread back up and don't mind the date this article was written....i don't mind either.

Next bump will be some cool pictures and maybe a line or two with my own considerartions

Peace

Oh completly forgot : OMG..OMG..we are all gonna die!!!!

Okay, enough is enough......

Both this thread and this thread OMG...latest cropcircle deciphered!!!! are obviously not about cropcircles or an island in the atlantic which one day MIGHT collapse...

If everybody is so eager to hand out stars and flags do me a favour and visit both these threads:

The Dark Side of "Conspiracy Theory"

Prophecy is neither scientific nor spiritual

Read them well and star + flag the sh*t out of them because Skyfloating is adressing this exact issue with way better scientific facts than i ever could....

Please read them!!!

Peace.

MOD's : You can close this thread is you see it fit

OK, I'm kinda confused. Is this thread for real or just spoofing someone or something?

Hmm...lots of work went into pulling a BS thread like this. Then you're mocking yourself / yourselves.

Edited to add:

I think you should be banned for posting such knowing BS. I think it violates the T&C about posting knowingly false information / hoaxing, etc.

You're trying to prove a point? That's your goal here, to prove people on this website stupid? That's cold.

It's also very disruptive and in complete violation.

You tell me!! It is what it is....make up your own mind...

Hmm...lots of work went into pulling a BS thread like this. Then you're mocking yourself / yourselves.

There's an other thing i have noticed. How do copy-pasting a bunch of articles of the internet equal a lot of work?? This is lot of work?? NO IT IS NOT....And about mocking myself, i do it all the time because i tend not to take anything serious including myself. Do you???

I think you should be banned for posting such knowing BS. I think it violates the T&C about posting knowingly false information / hoaxing, etc.

I think you're right but unfortunatly there ain't a damn thing in this thread which could be considered a HOAX or false information!!! It is my interpretation of something and that validates this thread....you see the problem here?? I don't have to prove anythink and can fearmonger as much as i like. (I'm not alone in this behaviour!!)

You're trying to prove a point? That's your goal here, to prove people on this website stupid? That's cold.

I sure am trying to make a point and the people who concern this got the message, believe me!!! And how have i tried to prove people are stupid?? I posted a theory and didn't back it up with any scientific data or outdated data.

It's also very disruptive and in complete violation.

What's the general remark when it concerns statements like this.....

oh yeah, if you don't like the topic or the poster don't come on these threads and ignore them.....simple right??

Here's a question for you:

Why are you so sour?? Did i wreck your weekend because now you have no certain doom to look forward to??

Peace

No, you sir, are incapable of "wrecking my weekend".

Sour? I gave my opinion, as did you. You started this rediculousness not I. You put out your information just to do some type of experiment to proove yourself intellectually superior to others.

How childish.

I am very glad to hear this because i would not want that on my conscience...

Sour? I gave my opinion, as did you.

But it doesn't hurt if you do it with a smile and a sence of humor...

You started this rediculousness not I.

I take it that this is your opinion?? I, myself, found it rather amusing.

You put out your information just to do some type of experiment to proove yourself intellectually superior to others.

Only if you feel intellectually challenged could you interpret this thread in such a way......

This "attempt" had nothing to do with intelligence but i guess you would have to re-read the thread to come to this conclusion....good luck!!

How childish.

Sour??....lighten up, dude!!!

Peace

There is also a live volcano, White Island, in the Bay of Plenty, North Island New Zealand. Was looking out for some volcanic activity reports for White Island as my car was covered in ash on Sunday, not sure whether it may have blown off some steam over the weekend (White Island) or what the cause of the ash is.

See, one problem with your post is that it so closely imitates others that it isn't readily apparent that it's a parody. I was feeling quite annoyed with you for a while, thinking I'd have to 'ignore' yet another ATS member...

I understand your problem, though. Parody is making an exaggerated sort of caricature of a person (or a sort of person), imitating them by overdoing it, laying it on way too thick. You can't do that here, unfortunately. There are some excitable folks who sound much like you; and others who do this, just to get more gullible people worked up into fearing yet another Armageddon.

I've got a couple of rules of thumb that serve me well. If a headline has a question mark, the answer is almost always "no". "End of life as we know it?" No. "The beginning of the New World Order?" No, sorry...

The other is, if it's got more than one exclamation point, it's probably bogus. Works for me.

From the prophecies of Billy Meier....

www.theyfly.com...

Coming Mega-catastrophe for the U.S.?
In early 2005, not long after the devastating Indian Ocean earthquake and
tsunami, Meier received information from the Plejaren that there would be an
eruption of the La Palma volcano in the Canary Islands that would produce a
tsunami of unprecedented destructive force. They said that as horrific as the
Asian tsunami was, it would be dwarfed in comparison by the devastation,
especially to the residents of the east coast of the U.S., caused by the La Palma
tsunami.
Meier was told that the tsunami’s waves could reach several hundred meters in
height and come in at supersonic speeds, penetrating as much as 12 miles
inland – along the entire east coast of the U.S.
He was further informed that unless the U.S. government starts the long and
necessary process to prepare for this certain to occur event, the death toll would
be between 20-30 million Americans. Again, Meier was also told that terrestrial
scientists are aware of the possible eruption but that they underestimate the
magnitude of the accompanying destructive consequences. Once again, Meier
didn’t give a date for the La Palma event, which some scientists say could lie
from years to centuries in the future. (See:
theyfly.com... and
www.newscientist.com...)
Some people have speculated that the La Palma tsunami could be the event
referred to in this passage from the Henoch Prophecies (see:
theyfly.com...):
“Even when the North American continent will be stricken by the most
terrible catastrophe which has ever been recorded, evil military powers will
wreak havoc with computerized and nuclear, biological and chemical weapons,
whereby it will also happen that computerized weapons become independent
and cannot be controlled any longer by human beings.”

Even though this was intended as 'Q-Factor' satire....I'm bumpin' ur thread and giving it a flag.

I just watched that Discovery Channel special "Mega Tsunamis" which another member just posted here:

Mega Tsunami - Wave of Destruction

I wonder which is more likely to happen first, this....or the super volcano at Yellowstone erupting...

kill 100,000,000s?
20% of the total population does not live anywhere near the affected areas. The tsunami would have to flod all of Europe, + the 3 americas + Caribean to come close to that figure.

Anyways, the model that destroys the coastlines assumes a 25km fault, but physical evidence only shows a 4km fault. So don't lose sleep over this.

Also, I would like to see that same computer simulate the Lituya Bay mega-tsunami, just for comparison.
