Man set alight after being hit with Taser

would any of you like to try some hand to hand with some drugged out derro holding fuel and a lighter?

Before the cops could get close enough for that they could be doused with fuel, and the 1 spark as there wrestling and there all toast.

What were the cops' options?

1. Try to physically subdue a man with a can of gasoline and a lighter.

2. Shoot a man with a can of gasoline and a lighter with a hot projectile.

3. Taser a man with a can of gasoline and a lighter.

Bear in mind that they were dealing with more than one belligerent individual, as the cop who fired the taser was hit in the head with a rock thrown by a woman.

I find it hard to fault the police in this instance.

Oddly enough a similar situation was illustrated in season 8, episode 15 of CSI.

I feel so sad reading this thread.

I don't blame the police, and I don't blame Mr Mitchell.

A lot of aboriginal people are living in dire straits and turn to anything to get them out of their nightmare, for a while, and I am not surprised.

The cops have to protect themselves.

This is a tragic accident that was bound to happen.
