Looks like any other "alien" video to me...

The fact remains...
why would creatures with technology far greater than ours waste their time exposing themselves to some 81 year old woman in BFE??

Nobody in the mainstream has even heard of this stuff.. let alone take it seriously...

It's like me picking out an anthill.. and then picking out a single ant.. and then hiding in the corner or their rooms.. for #s and giggles.. and then leaving..

Peace out.. ants..

The odds are other planets do support life... but there is still ZERO evidence of that.. so i go with what I know.

i absolutely love the sense of wonder something like this brings into the ats world. regardless of your point of view on the subject, we are intrigued enough to think about it (well, most of us....) and post our personal opinion about it.

cheers,
AA

If that's true about the camera being faulty, that tears a fairly big hole in a lot of Dorothy Izatt's high-profile videos.

However I haven't been able to find anything about the CBC "On The Road Again" episode in question, to verify that. Do you have any further info?

I think the business about the orbs in the house is sillines. I think the video of the objects seen through the kitchen window during the interview is interesting.

i take the above as a question, not any type of fact. a question that we can only guess the answer to (well maybe not some...).

anyway, why wouldn't they? do you think a advanced civilization would make a decision for contact based on what they think of the persons "qualifications", or what we would consider a limitation (like age) to be?"

Why is it that the orbs are silliness, and yet the outside light is intriguing? I imagine the answer lies in their distance, the orb represents inside light. Be not afraid.

The orbs are illuminated, out-of-focus dust particles that are close to the camera.

I think maybe it could possibly be a Television Transmission that was sent back in time through a temporal rift and she somehow causes a field disturbance on the camera from a perfect arrangement of fillings in her mouth regardless of which camera she picks up.

I will even go so far as to provide evidence of the broadcast that she might be picking up and misinterpreting.

I BELIEVE it might very well indeed be a Red Hot Chili Peppers video.

Examine the evidence for yourself and do a comparison.

Great video, thanks for bringing this up. I had never heard this story before.

OK, so we have a faulty camera that could explain the squiggly lines, is that what I just read? Still, that doesn't account for the lights being there in the first place.

I read the thread while downloading the movie but still was surprised when the light appeared behind the daughter. I didn't even see it the first time, shows how perceptive I am. Did anyone notice, or am I just seeing things, that when the light appears, it comes out of three gray shapes in the dark? It looks to me like there are three gray "orbs", so to speak, there and the two bottom ones become the light. Maybe I'm just seeing things that aren't there, whatever. Food for thought.

I also noticed what looked to be a sense of relief on the daughter's afacve in the interview right after the thing "entered" her. Take that FWIW, just my take on it. She did say she was more relaxed.

TurkeyBurgers, that line about the Improbability drive, were you just referencing Douglas Adams or do scientists/physicists/whatever actually believe in that idea? I always thought it was just Adams making fun of everything, like he did so well.

I'm one of the people writing about the faulty camera, subsequent to mmiichael raising this issue.

However, what you say is true.

The faulty camera would not account for the lights being there in the first place.

I am not sure if it based on Science or just straight up Science fiction! Heck Science Fiction not only predicted but might have been the idea behind so many things that we now have as a reality. But yeah I did get it from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

I mean SERIOUSLY if we were to step into Science Fiction and say OK we have these Interdimensional ships. What are they doing?

Do they come from the Jerky Universe where it is common for creatures to have Seizures and the pilots on the stick are just busting out with normality?

I mentioned the polls because it is in the first few seconds of the movie. I do not have a closd mind that is why I am watching it. So far there is nothing that says alien abduction is real. So I read or watch these things in hopes that maybe something new will come and will either show that abductions are real or will show what causes these people to have mental breakdown and to believe they are being taken aboard an alien spacecraft.
So far there is nothing of substance to support the alien abduction theory but there is plenty to support mental illness of some type, either temporary or full blown. I am willing to accept what has more proof behind it...so far mental issues is winning. Think about it all you got for alien abduction is the peoples word and nothing more no physical evidence...nothing. You can continue to believe blindly...I myself can question and watch these videos in hopes of finally getting a final answer...something you believers think you have but have nothing to back it. I myself don't have an answer. Just a possible one.the mental health...the evidencee is pointing that way..but in is not definitive.
are you lost or something, this video had nothing to do about alien abduction, just to help you on your way, mental health issues don't fly around the sky and are able to be filmed.i hope this helps your evidence.

How can you be so sure? You can't. You can't be so sure of anything. This woman claims to actually have had telepathic contact with other entities. It seems like maybe we should be open to other possibilities.

I'm very sure about the dust.

But notwithstanding the dust, I still find it an interesting case.

Ummm.. yes??

Assuming these aliens are smarter than us.. which they have to be to travel this far - or live invisibly within our realm (LOL)... WHY THE F.. would they spend all these resources to contact someone who is mildy reliable, at best.. and leave NO physical evidence...

Really.. the only reason I could see is to torment this lady... Which makes them malignant.

It's like me spending 3 grand to fly to africa.. and bring my family.. and meet some aborigine tribe and then appear in their tents at night.. and then fly back home..
It's a waste of time, resources, and efficiency..
Unless the aliens are just bored Douche bags.. it makes NO sense..

It is amazing.

well i can't say its a busted camera, being as its 8mm any crack which light could come thru would be apparent in every frame..

the fact she filmed with 3 camera's and they all shows the same object, plus the interview showing the light in the back on a somewhat modern camera also rules out her camera

All I can say is... the rest of the family, should all be buggy whipped if they havent given her a new camcorder by now

seriously !

would love to see more video from a modern camcorder or digital camera

fair enough, and i see your points.
that said, i just cant personally imagine some super advanced beings using our stereotypes, our values, or anything else we use to create the pecking order among this planets inhabitants.
ego drives how we view our fellow man and whats important in our society. i do not see how a civilization could be advanced enough for any type of long space travel, and be slaves to ego as well.

cheers,
AA
