Israel soldiers speak out on Gaza

A group of soldiers who took part in Israel's assault in Gaza say widespread abuses were committed against civilians under "permissive" rules of engagement. The troops said they had been urged to fire on any building or person that seemed suspicious and said Palestinians were sometimes used as human shields. Breaking the Silence, a campaign group made up of Israeli soldiers, gathered anonymous accounts from 26 soldiers.

More and more soldiers speaking out,they claim it wasn't a few bad apples but a systematic widespread approach from the IDF.From demolishing homes to sending in civilians to buildings before soldiers.Dropping WP in a reckless way.Of course the IDF are investigating this themselves..i wonder how balanced that investigation will be.

The Israeli people are absolutely entitled to self defence.

Just the same, over 1400 Palestinians dead against 13 Israelis constitutes a massacre. No government, no people are beyond accountability. I thought that was established at Nuremberg. Kudos to those speaking the truth, from either side.
