I also believe whatever someone thinks happens when they die, is what actually happens when they die. If that makes sense. We all have different beliefs.

That is what I think as well. I believe that all my friends and family will be near me and we will be able to drink the most amazing beer that never runs out. (I am going to be cremated, but I want my ashes stored in a beer mug just in case I am right.

Isn't that something like Evil Knievel used to say. His Heaven was full of amazing beer that wouldn't make him fat and women that his wife wouldn't mind him hanging out with.

wow thats one of the most hateful websites I've ever seen. lol jesus is savior.com. It literally listed every religion on earth and said they are all gonna burn in hell. I think I even saw freemasonry under the religious part, lol. Freemasonry isnt a religion.

I'm not going to hell.

I knowyou werent sending us to the site for that, but I couldnt find the ozzy osbourne thing. The link didnt work. But yeah I'm pretty sure ozzy started that hand thing.

Funny thing about ozzy though, he doesnt even consider himself a satanist I think. lol.

omg I found it and it says hellen keller created it and she was a satanist!!!! Is that funny or what? It actually says she was into the occult, which I didnt know, but we all know what christian fundamentalists think of anything occult....SATAN! A lot of occult stuff has nothing to do with satan. I'd know, I've studied it for over 11 years with my wife, and funnily enough my wife is a christian, but not a fundamentalist.

Is that website really trying to say hellen keller was evil?

Heres a quote:

"Did Keller purposely design the deaf's "I love you" sign to be such a remarkable imitation of the classic sign of Satan? Was Keller saying, basically, "I love you, Devil?""

Actually the reason I found the site interesting is because of the photographs of celebrities and politicians using that hand gesture. No one in their right mind would say that all those people are all satanists and devil worshippers.
What it does show is that we all, possibly, give out many hand gestures, etc, all the time without consciously realising it.

Thats what I think too. I think a lot of these people dont even realize they were doing it. And some of those are the obvious love handsign. And as for the pcis of rockers on there, obviously they were purposely doing it. It even has spiderman on there! I used the read the comics and I believe spidey needed to do that in order to release his web.

Imean the rich people and politicians could be part of some secret thing that uses that sign... But if they were I really dont see the point of doing it in public in front of 1000s.

Btw man,I wasnt making fun of you at all with my post. I was making fun of the site
.

While some do in fact call it the devil's horns, I'm not seeing a single sociological origin that takes that literally...

This is the biggest load of piffle i have ever heard, i'm just new and was browsing and these words stuck out Freemasonry is Un-Christian.

Why would you want it to be Christian you go to whatever your Church of Choice to be Christian.

Their are loads of Elders in my lodge who attend Christian Church services on a weekly basis, and Freemasonry in no way interferes with their Christian belief.

Are their not references to the Old Testament in the first degree the old shoe part?

This is like saying going ten pin bowling or fishing is unchristian what has Masonry to do with Christian worship? It's a club for men to enjoy time away from the wife and socialize

Anything to do with satanism or the occult is seen by the youngsters of the day as hip and trendy, hence the reasons that rock stars especially use that hand gesture. I seem to remember rumours that if you layed a certain song by a certain band (can't remember their name for the minute) then you would hear a satanic prayer. . .

Probably stairway to heaven. The certain kinda of words inthe song sounds like satan when heard backwards. The people who made up that backwords thing where some rock hating fundamentalists in the 80s. Themembers of zeppelin where into the occult, and one of them was really into Crowley. But I consider neither of that satanic.

Here in and around Jacksonville NC there are a lot of old cemeteries. I like to visit them and take pictures of some of the older headstones. This one has the Freemason symbol on it. I just thougth it had some relevance to the Freemason/Christian topic. If not then I do apologise.

Dio used it before Ozzy made it big. BTW, I don't think Ozzy ever used it, he always gave the peace sign.

The idea that masons meet 'on the level' may be admirable, but there is one place where rank matters greatly, and that is when you are being considered for placement in a masonic home. If you do a search on the web with 'masonic home' 'master mason', you will see that preferential admission goes to the master masons and their wives. I am very curious about this. I'm not sure if it is a reward for faithful service, or a final opportunity for the lodge to dislodge you from your wealth.

The masonic Homes were meant to be retirement homes for Masons and their wives, just like Mooseheart was built as a retirement home for members of the Moose Lodges.

Yes! The Moose Lodge also has an 'asset turnover' plan, just like the Masons. I wonder what the life expectancy is of someone who gets into an 'asset turnover' retirement home plan. I would find it a very risky business to turn over my assets to someone who was going to be responsible for my health in my old age.

I would think that in most cases the health care and living costs would outweigh whatever measly pension or retirement check the recipient gets monthly. While those "assets" may help with the expense of taking care of the elderly, additional funds are donated by the Masons to cover the balance. It's not like these retirement homes are really turning a profit or anything...

I am trying not to be on the defensive here, but are you insinuating that because the masons have a retirement home for masons then there must be some underhanded things going on with their money?

I'm saying that I don't pay for any large purchase in advance, least of all my retirement living arrangements. Tell me: Would you give a builder the full price for the home he is building you, in advance? How much riskier it would be to give someone the bulk of your estate in advance, and then put them in charge of your health and living arrangements! There is NO organization I would trust that much!

thanks for answering that. I am glad I got clarification on that. I was about to go into ass mode for no reason.
I agree with you on that topic. never pay up front unless you have no other choice. It makes people work real hard to please you when you have only payed them half.

It's not just the masons who run asset turnover plans! Our TV adverts over here in Blighty are full of companies who will give you cash for your house while you still live in it, which passes to the company when you pop your clogs. Even our government now wants a pensioners house to pay for their care in their old age.
Maybe the reason masons offer care for their old members is because of the heating bills? After all shape changing lizards like it nice and toasty. . !

(Only joking)
