[RINGS] talk about 5 (FTR Speculation)

For the while, I want to concentrate on 5, and/or -5-.

First, with everyone scrambling over the date 20-12-2012 trying to find code or clues, has anyone bothered to notice that 2+0+1+2=5?

This is true in either case where we add the digits of the date and month, or the digits of the year......Needn't scratch your head to determine where I applied this. Observe the FTR page.......at the bottom the formula is 1+1+1+1=1. Anyone notice?

Puzzling also is the source code (Thank you S*) disclaimer to ignore the rantings of 5 on the same page.
If 5 were no part of the process, why hide the disclaimer, and why allow the ranting to continue as long as they did? (Information leaks work wonders.)

Banning 5 does not stop speculation. Why accept it? It would occur to me, and hopefully others, if the ruse were such a grand kick, to simply get a new nick and return.

I need give my brain a break. But there is much more I will discuss.
