Late Night Rant

I tend to get less philosophical when I am in the drive of working to pay bills, and partyin to get with hot chicks. When I am bumming and in a socially un-busy stretch of life I tend to read more books and look more at news and society and world events. Is it just a natural human tendency that we are social creatures, and when idle and alone we go crazy and seek new things? Or is it that societys norm and status quo prevents us from focusing on the truth or the big picture? Where is the balance in between?

I too am currently suffering from insomnia and have not been able to sleep for the past week (I get 1-2 hours of sleep a night)

Anyway, to the OP don't worry my friend you will find a balance, I have. Now that you are aware of the situation your mind will just click and you will be enlightened.
