SAN JOSE (AFP) - Costa Rica is the happiest place on earth, and one of the most environmentally friendly, according to a new survey by a British
non-governmental group.
The New Economics Foundation looked at 143 countries that are home to 99 percent of the world's population and devised an equation that weighed life
expectancy and people's happiness against their environmental impact.
'Green living' poll
Pretty interesting poll! I wish more and more countries would become thes "green happy meccas!" Imagine the quality of life and Earth! The United
States placed 114th out of the 143 nations on the poll. That's really not that surprising, considering the sheer size and current energy resources.
One day (probably not in our lifetime) if we dont all blow ourselves up, my future bloodline might be able to experince this sort of "green
happiness."
