It's like a 3-Dimensional shadow being cast without any direct light source of any kind.
It even casts a reflection on the wood floor.

More of Michael Jackson haunting CNN? Somebody did this one on purpose.

Heres what it says....

Last night during the news networks coverage of the death of Michael Jackson, a ghoulish image appeared over the shoulder of Anderson Cooper. See the video after the jump.

At first we were completely freaked out, but the image later appeared again, leading us to believe that the producer of the show was asleep at the wheel and was allowing ghoulish images of MJ to appear on the flat panels behind Cooper. We captured some video, so give it a watch and decide for yourself.

Thanks for being objective, Stormdancer and others. Someone did a heck of a job polishing the hallway floor. If you look, you can see the reflection on the hallway floor of everything visible in the room (fireplace, that light on a tripod stand). The light in that far room is so bright that even this unseen man's shadow is reflected back onto that super-shiny floor in the hall. Of course, the shadow is upside down in it's reflection - meaning that what looks like legs and feet are actually the guy's upper torso and head.

One other item that was brought up about 5 pages ago is that you can also see the shadow of what looks like a chandelier just above the guys head - unless that is the ghost of a chandelier.

Thank you for posting that. Many of us have been trying to demonstrate that it was only the shadow of someone (now we know it was Gary the lighting guy) in the back room for 16 pages now. It is sad that so many people insisted on believing it was the ghost of Michael Jackson in spite of being slapped in the face with the truth.

I saw the video. Am I missing something? I saw a guy crack a bunch of jokes and then merely mention that it was just the shadow of "Gary the lighting guy". Is this what we are calling debunking? I'm a sceptic, I need proof.

Yes - the shadow is on the farthest wall from our viewpoint. Remember, CNN was not there all by themselves that day. The home was crawling with reporters and employees. It appears that the room at the end of the hall was being set up for an interview - note how bright the lighting in that room is and that there is already another powerful filming light set up (but not turned on yet) in that room which is clearly visible in the video footage.

As you can see from my lame drawing, the shadow is created by the man passing in front of the light. Since we are down at the bottom of the hallway, we can't see the light source or the man, but they are both there none the less. The shadow which this man creates is cast upon the farthest wall and fireplace. Since the hallway floor is highly polished, the shadow and fireplace also reflect onto the hallway floor and give the illusion of legs and feet, and makes it seem like something is walking IN the hallway but the only thing in the hallway is a reflection of some dude's shadow. A careful and objective study of the slowed-down video on the top of this page clearly shows this to be the truth.

Just replace 'man' in the above drawing with 'Gary the lighting guy' and mystery solved. If you look at the slowed down footage it is easy to see.

No offense guy, but few people are debating you that it "could" be a shadow. But that doesn't mean it's a shadow. If someone puts forward Gary the lighting guy claims, somebody has to put forward Gary the lighting guy proof. That's just the way these things work. You can't be sceptical of ghosts and then be a total believer in Gary the lighting guy without any solid evidence whatsoever or you're not being honest with yourself ... or anyone else for that matter.

Michael Jackson, loathe to be away from the scores of children he has molested in life, returns as a wraith to molest even more. Joy to the world and to the world of plastics!!!!

is it my impression..or the shadow is paced far from the fireplace...i would like if someone tries to re-create this effect ....i mean many come up with drawings and plan..can you try to recreate this effect?

because for me..it is still MJ's Ghost
