I just found this the other day:

Google Video Link

Pay attention while watching and you'll see how people do more than merely survive, but live in balance with their world without the encumbrances and shackles of the industrial prison we think of as civility.

One woman tells of how she lived off dandelions for her first year, and shows some gardening, water gathering, and other daily routines of people who have lived in the mountains most of their lives.

Enjoy!

This was a great watch, thanks for sharing.

I actually learned a few things from this video.
The thoughts of those people are really amazing.

That's a prime example of the survivor mentality in action. I didn't notice too many sad depressed looking types in the film.

I like the old man near the end and how he's just been there a little while and knows nothing.

I liked it for the way the old 80 odd year old was still on his feet buzzing about and acting like a man 20 years younger.
Telling what's what to the novice monks.
There is a lot to say about keeping your mind clear of the bs and trivia that is bombarded against us by the msm.
They also acknowledged the 'delusional state of mind' of people in towns and cities, but also the need to take care of yourself etc.
