Hello

Before I was comming here, I didn't know a lot of all the things that are discussed here. But now after a year of reading topics from the forum, my eye's are opened.
I think most people are not aware that there's much more going on in this world than that they think or learned in school. They laugh with most of the things discussed here.
I decided to join this forum because here you can talk with other people that are open for new things.

Most of my interest goes to ancient history, UFO's, space, new technology

My main language is dutch, so my english is not perfect, but I will do my best.

Welcome aboard.

Quick question.

In Belgium, when you order Belgium waffles. Do you order Belgium waffles or do you just order waffles?

Is there such a thing as American waffles?

Do you mean the warm waffles dusted with sugar? Here we say Brussels waffles if we mean the "belgium waffles"
You also have the Liège waffle here.
Never heard about American waffles

Hey welcome to ATS.

One of the most entertaining locations on the web, you'll never really know what somebody will post next. Make yourself at home there is plenty of beer and eats in the frig.

We have a wonderful Search feature to see if something you want to post a new thread about hasn't already been posted. Trust me using it cuts down on getting your post deleted for already being posted. It is also a great way to find and join already going threads in your fields of interests.

P.S.

Don't touch my Scotch!

Peace

Slay

Hello friend!

How is belgium?

well,

If police arrest a thief or a criminal in Belgium, most of the time they release them because prisons are full.
But a normal person get a fine for riding 52km/h if the speedlimit is 50 km/h, or if he is eating sommething in his car, or for tune his radio.

The politicians are selfish and thinking only for their own pocket.
Even if they not come up to the expectations and fail, they go again in politics.

Very high taxes. The more you work, the more taxes you must pay.

We must pay the retirement for the people who are now on pension. But would we gave a retirement if it's our time?

Illegal refugee's in our country have more rights than our own people.

You must be almost stupid to work, because sometimes you get more money and have more bennefits if you have no job.

I can make along list of this.
Everything is possible in Belgium.

If you actualy believe that , then you have lots of "ignorance to deny" yet my friend...

Your statement about refugee's is just blatantly wrong...anyone who thinks they have more rights then actual Belgians is deluding themself.

Sure it's your (bordering on racist imho ) opinion, which you are entitled to... but please don't portrait it as the general feeling in Belgium, cause it isn't.

Please...Don't tell me you're a VB supporter ....? (Vlaams Belang)

No I'm not a VB supporter.
I have no problem with refugee's in general. If they learn our language and want to start a new (good) live here, no problem!
But if they are here to profit from our system, then my opinion is that they better return. Some of them get here, get money from the state, get a house from the state, and get a lot of benefits. They must do nothing for it. Sorry but if you think this is normal, why should other people work than, why can't we all profit?
There are also Belgian people that profit, that's true, they are equal badly.

What I said about the rights, I think that they can do things here wherefor the local people get's a punishment, that's all.
But for example if we occupy a empty building without permission, we get a fine, they not.
