This was posted in 2008, but I have not heard it and couldn't find it here.
Through the freedom of information act, this recording was released according to the author of this video (audio only).

The audio begins at the 1:00 minute mark, or you can read text and hear background music prior.

Basically he says there is such low percieved threat to terrorist attacks, worldwidde, that it would take an attack to wake everyone up.

Listen...

I've heard this one before.

Anyone could tell you I'm on the side that says the government was partly responsible for the 9/11 attacks, but in my opinion, especially if Rummy didn't know he was being recorded, I'd say this audio makes him sound LESS guilty.

We didn't hear the entire conversation, so his words could have been taken out of context very easily here.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Why is this forum under close staff scrutiny do you think ?

Is there an effort to put you off the scent of what you believe to be a conspiracy by elements of the US government, to cause 911 ?

Whats so unbelievable about that (if it is the case) do you think ?

Are ATS T&C not enough when it comes to discussing 911 ?
