Two More Banks Close

Two more banks closed today in Georgia.

It hasn't hit the FDIC news feed, but there was one in Noonan GA and one in Villa Rica GA. The one in Villa Rica, Community Bank of West Georgia, did NOT have a buyer, so it goes to the FDIC on Monday. All money is frozen until then...

Funny, banks are going bust in Florida but they are opening new branches of several in the next year around here. Makes NO sense.

There is a normal edd and flow of bank failures that always occurs. We all have hightened sensativity to it now, but there have always been bank failures, generally due to bad management or density of competition.
