Even worse then waxman its Pelosi, who they've given all their time to!!!

Why would you do that!??!

Well good thing I'm off to work, remember since your going to watch this, get kleenex for when your ears start to bleed!

I'd rather listen to Boehner for an hour than Nancy "Stretch" Pelosi for the next minute.

I agree that Waxman looks like a troll. A very snobish troll at that.

If this bill is passed Obama & Company will be one step closer to their Lets-all-hug-and-Play-nice-and-Redistribute the wealth-Communist Global Community. I'm so sick of this useless crap. When they send Acron now COI around to my house next year to do the census I'll set their papers on fire and shove them down their throats.

According to THOMAS, this bill only has one co-sponsor. What's up with that? Ron Paul needed 200 and some just so the bill could go to the floor for consideration.

The voting is starting on the amendment. Say a prayer that this will crash and burn. Followed by the main bill afterward.

You got that right, they need to stop pushing these bills through without reading them.

Interesting thing came out though the Republicans are introducing alternate legislation. They need to start screaming that is what they are doing.

Yea really, my head is about explode from all the stupidity being projected by just Pelosi.

I can't say what I really want to say it is way against the T&C of this site.

Is this alternate amendment what they're voting on right now? Since I'm in Germany, I don't get C-SPAN, and I can't really read the text on the little internet window. I hope it is because, as it stands right now, the Republicans are in favor of whatever they're voting for.

EDIT: Yeah, they are. C-SPAN just put some handy arrows up that are easier to read.

I'm not totally sure, but I think they are voting on the amendment that Bohner was just reading.

Hopefully this amendment will fail. As for the total bill I hope that crashes and burns too.

If it does pass the House hopefully it doesn't pass the Senate.

Ok this is a GOP amendment that they are voting on.

This is the last thing that the House is doing before the Fourth of July recess. The Senate already took their recess yesterday. So, even if this bill passes today, there is still some time for the people to work on the Senate so that they don't pass it.

The vote begins...

I wonder what this five minute vote on the "journal" is that takes place after this final passage vote.

It's amazing to me how the House is starting to sound like the British House of Commons a little bit.

EDIT: Well, the bill has passed in the house. Hopefully the Senate will be a little wiser.

I guess that is just another unread bill being passed, not really surprising it seems like it is just par for the course now a days. One article I read said it was over 1600 pages, who knows what could be in there
.
definitely not good news.

There should be some kind of "literary whip" to enforce reading of a bill.

Seriously. How is that not common sense?

How can you pass something and not read it?

Please tell me it's a carbon tax, please, or a new tax.

It's that and more! Taxes and regulations. Love it I do!

Kick ***! I'm goin to be all star patriot! I wonder what kind of regulations, please tell me that there going to limit my driving like they do watering my own yard! I want to be regulated and controlled!!!

I'm super stoked about these taxes, not just one but many you say! I'm so happy I could ****.

That too will be taxed under this bill.

Might as well laugh about it rather than cry. This is going to pass folks, and our standard of living is going to plummet.

YAY! More monopolies to screw us all over!

Take the poison and choke America, that's basically what you've done.

No, no, no. It's medicine, not poison don't you see? Americans are addicts. Horrible petroleum addicts who can only be cured by the strong medicine of impoverishment. Just think of it as being in rehab. You’ll just have to do without for a while, or for the rest of your life. Anyway, it’s for your own good so submit or be tied to a gurney.

Now take your medicine like a good little slave.
