The past six months have seen the world's media report a string of ailments and illnesses plaguing the star - including cancer, flesh-eating diseases and a genetic lung disease.

Biographer Ian Halperin claimed Michael Jackson was battling an illness that left him half-blind and in dire need of a lung transplant.

Halperin said the singer was suffering from a disease called Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency or A1AD a genetic disorder that depletes a protein that protects both the liver and lungs.

Jackson's camp denied the claims

An official spokesman said: "Mr. Jackson is in fine health, and finalizing negotiations with a major entertainment company & television network for both a world tour and a series of specials and appearances."

Anyway, I think ifthere's any conspiracy behind all this, it won't be directly connected with the death of MJ, it'll be what the media can bury in the s# storm that'll be the next few weeks of news.

An excellent article in the August 2002 issue of Philadelphia Weekly, Solomon Jones reported that Lopes' uncle Anthony — who was morbidly obese — followed Bowman's regimen of herbs, lost 100 pounds, gained them back and subsequently died of congestive heart failure. Lisa Lopes, according to the article, frequently hallucinated and had premonitions of her own death during her three years of mineral "treatment."
