i think we all know by now what is next on the list ....maybe not in what order but the way it appears TPTB will be taking control of the internet, silencing anyone and everyone who voices their opinions on the way the country is being ran, destroying the dollar to usher in whatever new monetary system they have planned, and its obvious the one thing they havent quite finished is removing political figures such as Ron Paul from whatever position they hold in the government....once the latter happens the other things on the "to-do-list" will virtually happen overnight....and half of Americans will say "I told you so" and the other half will say "how did this happen" and everyone will be powerless to do anything about it...because the ones who KNEW did nothing but sit on the sidelines...but thats just my opinion...who knows we may wake up tomorrow and the rivers will be flowing with milk and honey and the streets will be made of gold....

Ron Paul is getting louder and louder. He sees what is coming and he can't quite get people to listen.

Don't take his words lightly...

Obama's recent decision to give the Fed even more HUGE powers is a gigantic red flag...as if we needed any more of them.

Obama supporters....WAKE UP!

First off, my disgust of Obama has grown so ferociously that i dont watch his conferences anymore,i read the transcripts.I can't stand the lies that roll of his tongue more so than other politicians because reporters and the media fall over heels for the guy and it makes my stomach turn.

As for financial collapse,if so it is meant to be.I think we all know the monetary system is nothing but a sham perpetuated through generations until everyone thinks its sound. The only way America can collapse financially is from outside forces which are mostly run in the same manner.China is obviously one of the big *what ifs*...i don't know if their central bank is in cahoots with the federal reserve, they have a long history with europe though..especially the UK.And its the european elite that finally got their claws into America after being pushed back by *real* patriotic presidents. The only difference is china backs its currency with silver...but is also known for currency manipulation. In the end though i dont blame Obama.. he is a discardable puppet, there are tens of thousands of Obamas ready to take his place and lure in the masses with catchy phrases, flashy lights and celebrity like status.

ok , obviously this was hyperbole... Ron Paul doesn't actually believe Obama wants an economic collapse, but the current path looks like that's an inevitability to Ron Paul...

The title was a bit misleading..

He's been saying it for a long time...at least as long as I've known about him. It's not really misleading....except for the word "goal." He's been saying that we are collapsing the dollar for a long time.

He predicted the entire mortgage crisis and said how it would happen...in detail...and that alone should make people take him seriously.

The debt is unsustainable...I've often questioned the motives of it all because the amount spent is almost impossible to pay back.

If it collapses, we can finally start over =D.

I'm actually being serious here, economies collapse and jump back up because it's natural. We also tend to work harder in tough economic times which results in faster development.

And when the national sales tax is implemented vai ron Pauls caped leadership, what agency is going to handle that? And how are american businesses going to handle the millions fleeing across the borders to avoid the 30% tax increase on the products?

[edit on 23-6-2009 by Southern Guardian]

Sorry dude, but a national sales tax is not under "Ron Pauls caped leadership."
He would rather eliminate the income tax all together among many others that need scrapping.

Heres an interview for you to read...enjoy.

Tax Talk 2007: Ron Paul

and so you don't miss his view on the national sales tax:

I have advocated eliminating the IRS for my entire political career. The IRS could be replaced with a flat tax or national sales tax, although any consumption tax must be coupled with prompt repeal of the 16th amendment.

A national sales tax would be a step in the right direction in my opinion, but that would probably pull in more revenue than the income tax. A tax on EVERYTHING you can possibly buy. Think about what that would bring in on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. The government wouldn't change if it were implemented in my humble opinion.

Not to mention RP is strongly opposed to NAFTA which is a huge loss of tax revenue...and jobs!

End the wars as well, that takes care of the income tax. Cripes, if the government just stopped screwing things up we could start to recover...but nope...they keep making things worse.

True, but what other explanation is there for these obviously destructive, counter productive policies?

Either he wants to destroy the economy, or gain complete control of the economy, and have the vast majority of people dependant on the government. A government that will be larger and more intrusive into our lives than ever before.

The president has also shown an incredible lack of leadership in foreign policies.

He is obviously focused entirely on domestic agendas and polices... which would be fine, until you actually realize what potential impact his plans will have on our lives and generations into the future.

Okay President Obama, you inherited a lot of problems.... But please explain to all Americans how going from a $500 BILLION deficit to $2 TRILLION has helped the economy so far? how many jobs have you really saved or created? Over the years to come how many more trillions in deficit spending are you planning on????

Its too bad we can't get away with this kind of spending in our personal lives... I'd love to have a perpetual blank check at my bank with no limits on how much debt I can create in my accounts.

Just thought i'd throw this in here, since it's not really worthy of its own thread.

Although some may think Ron isn't heard much,
he is still widely known through out at LEAST the internet.

Check out digg.com
digg.com...

2331 diggs as of this moment, which is pretty high amount of diggs.
He's one of the few politicians I see pop up on digg. People do watch what he's saying, and spread it.

I'm very grateful and impressed with his online followers.

I had suspected this..22,000 jobs sent overseas..civil force needed. The writting wa on the wall...dotn be suprise of more things we are used to become goverment ontrolled now..even donw to a box of cornflakes! I hope im just being paranoid about it though..think about it. NOT one program is set up, for how long now, to help thise who lost thier jobs here in mainland USA, aka tent citys. Their IS no new buisnesses being erected, built to create new jobs for the majority of the public...so what do you think it al means then? Donst tkae a rocket sceintist to put 2 and 2 together.
What bothers me, thinking about it, is IF and when all is said and done...how does obama hide from blame? Maybe they will fidn ways to keep us nervous and distracted, so we dont notice, and forget about it shortly? Blame it on a pnzi scheme/false flag stock market crash, so int he months when things get better, people wil have forgotten whos to blame for it? Thats what im trying to work on/out/./

Like life was one big game,,,just as the FED is doing. Now is a difrrent story, cause people have learned and are forced too. This economic situation, was planned out at leat formt he time Bush junior took office, but it took 9/11 to activate it.. just seems this way to me

Broken record. Iv heard many things from Ron Paul, doesnt make me even turn much anymore. We are in an economic crises, true, but as per usual we get the alarmists coming out and push their own agenda. Because we dont choose ron pauls route, to close down the IRS and replace it with another agency to handle the skyrocketing taxes on our products in place of income taxes to which millions will then cross into Canada and Mexico for their products, the goal here is economic collapse. Funny we have not even seen his plan in action before, the man doesnt even know whether it works let alone how its going to work. All it is, "end the fed", end just another agency and that will solve our problems, to be eventually replaced with another problem i.e another agency.

Not all of us buy the Ron Paul talk. True, Iv said this before, the man had the balls to tell it like it is back in 03' but nothing further than that. When the economic recovers next year, with all the conservatives complaing the recovery the result of "a cycle, not a stimulus" what will Ron Pauls excuse be? I get the feeling he will be using the same alarmist rhetoric, nothing surprising really.

Hell You have that record too?

I know it note for note and can play it in any key...

I know they are part of the problems, but hasn't the Republicans been saying Obama is going to spend us into disaster for the past few months?

They got trashed pretty good for stating this, so why is Ron Paul getting praised for basically saying the same thing?

The truth is the truth no matter who is saying it.

Why isn't RP our Pres? By "ours" I mean the 10-15% of the U.S. population that is awake and not happy about being surrounded by sheeple. I have nothing against Obama, I am a supporter of his but I really would like to see him grow a set of testicles and have him quit being the puppet that he is.

we have debt we cannot pay off; out of control spending that is just getting started with no way to stop it because it's already "passed"; congress that rubber stamps whatever bill the president puts forth without even reading it; czars each with their own budget, staff, authority and kingdom to rule that are multiplying like rabbits; a president that takes over industries right and left and has now given "increased power" to a semi-private organization that oversees (prints at will) the nation's money and is not accountable to or overseen by anybody. that's before the health care thing gets started. in what world could this all turn out okay? in what world could this economy "turn around"? oh i forgot to mention the credit default swaps and other toxic assets that riddle our entire economy.

I feel like I'm in the grand ballroom of the titanic. We are wearing our fanciest duds and surrounded by beautiful things, listening to the band play while our fabulous unsinkable ship is already filling with water. Ron Paul wants us to wake up--and do what? vote on election day? write to our elected officials? make phone calls to our friends? not gonna help. we've hit the iceberg and we're taking on water. our three branches of government that should have been those compartments that seal off have had holes drilled in them and let that water pour in everywhere. you can't look to the constitution because nobody goes by that any more. not the courts. not the legislative branch. not the executive branch.

this situation didn't come up over night. it's been oncoming for some time, but obama and his congress and his czars not only didn't try to minimize damage from the iceberg but hit it straight on at an ever increasing rate of speed. yes i know, bush's fault. republicans...8 years of war... but the current captain is obama and he's doing his level best to bring about economic collapse as fast as possible.

why?

one world currency? subservient populace? reduced population? maybe, but under none of these circumstances will the power elite live as well as they are living right now. they will be better off than anybody else but still miserable compared to the wealth at their disposal right now. why are they destroying that? why?
