You are better off that way! The main reason that I liked them so much was because they were completely re-inventing themselves every album:
3 Imaginary boys (punk)
Boys Don't Cry (alternative pop)
Seventeen Seconds (moody w/ heavy guitars)
Faith (doom & gloom)
Pornography (just plain violent)
Japanese Whispers (idiot, but catchy, pop)
The Top (schizophranic)
Head on The Door (really varied mix of songs)
Kiss Me x3 (Really, really varied mix of songs)
Disintigration (dark/moody)
After 89', who cares! I suppose that after awhile most bands just get burnt out, but it is disappointing when it is a band that you have been into
for years. Oh well, I suppose that it was really no surprise.
