Hi all.
I’ve got a thread going about Walter Cronkite and his illness in the Media section...
The article I have is not more than 24 hours old.
Is it possible to also author a thread in the Breaking News about Mr. Cronkite?
I’m not sure if this is acceptable, and, if breaking alternative news would be the place to post this thread.
Thanks in advance...

I'm not an authority here, but what I've read mods post at other times is that a duplicate thread is OK, if one of the threads is in breaking news.

I don't think that applies if both threads are by the same author though. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the last one posted would end up getting locked or deleted.

It looks suitable for the 'People' forum on BTS, where it is currently.

That topic would not be considered 'breaking alternative news' so the BAN forum doesn't seem like a proper place for a second home.

Good thread, though:

To stoke the fires.. check out the threads about Alternate Timelines and Walter Cronkite....

Supposedly, many people remember that he died already.....
