I am curious to see if whether the geological formations in the Cydonia region of Mars are relative in position as to the Egyptian pyramids here on Earth (roughly 30 N, 30 E). Does anybody know where I can obtain this information?

I would find it quite mysterious if they both have strikingly similar coordinates.

They do indeed as far as I know. Graham Hancock alludes to it in a few of his books. Whats really interesting is that one pyramid was origionally built using red stone, symbolising Mars. It is heavily implied that the first to build pyramids were travellers from Mars no less.
