UFOs spotted over Lake District

My mother had seen one whilst baby sitting on Saturday night above Ullswater in Glenridding. She said it moved around and then shot off up into the sky at an incredible speed. She doesn't believe that what she saw was chinese lanterns. About ten years ago my grandfather told me about seeing half a dozen bright lights moving around in the sky just above place fell in Ullswater and he confirmed that it wasn't planes. Also ten years ago I doubt it would be chinese lanterns.
