El Pollo Loco has a beef with KFC's grilled chicken

The marinade on the chain's new grilled chicken contains beef powder and rendered beef fat. And competitor El Pollo Loco wants you to know every finger-licking detail.

The plucky Costa Mesa restaurant company is making those beef byproducts the centerpiece of a new advertising campaign tweaking KFC.

I, personally, have never heard of El Pollo Loco. But I live in Texas. Should this be true, it may destroy KFC's new chicken business because of their 'healthier' grilled chicken.

I have not tried the grilled chicken as I really do not liked KFC's chicken. I prefer Popeyes, myself. But, knowing that this chicken is prepared with beef products - would you buy it??

The amount of false advertisment just amazes me! I hope this takes it's toll on KFC because of the false advertising..

If people try it and don't like it, they are welcome to not buy it again. If people try it and like it, does it really matter what seasoning is used?

As far as being healthy goes, if you want to be healthy, stay your ass out of KFC.

and in the scope of this being ATS breaking news I rate it a ............no second thought I don’t rate it.

Why would information like this ever appear in a forum like this? I feel fairly confidant in saying that this will not rock my world and probably no one else’s on this forum.

Wish these postings would be posted on a more appropriate forum and leave the threads here clear to discuss real topics not this trash.

Wasn't looking for ratings, friend!! Plus, story fits desription of this forum. TRhough, it may not be important to you this does not mean it is not important to someone else. Kinda like anything cook with peanuts can cause reactions in people who have an allergy?? Some cannot eat beef - period.

Talk about the false advertising - which, btw, affects each of us in some way.....
