The problem is, the Republican party has lost sight of the fact that the American Government is supposed to be a representative Government. You know;
Of the people, by the people, for the people.
Modern republicans are saying that they have “core values” that they refuse to compromise on. But, what they are not understanding is, if the
people of America that they are supposed to be representing, do not share the party’s “core values” then they SHOULD be altering their core
values to more closely match the peoples values.
Our government was never intended to be a government; Of the party, by the party, for the party.
Seriously, the Republican party wants to concentrate on social conservatism. You know, telling people they are not allowed to be gay. Telling people
they have no rights concerning their bodies. Trying to sneak religion into school. Trying to turn science into a religious undertaking and etc.
The problem with this is, the masses are more concerned with the faltering economy. America is bleeding jobs to “outsourcing.” We are losing the
war on affordable healthcare. Losing the war on affordable medicine. Losing the war on affordable higher education and etc.
The majority of the American people are more interested in being able to live a comfortable life and less interested in the gay-bashing hate filled
“core values” of the Repulican party.
If the Republican party is not interested in being a party of the people, by the people, for the people, then they will continue to become
marginalized. Pure and simple.
