Why on earth did these Met officers feel that these methods could be justified? Just another aspect of the way Policing seems to be heading in the UK? So you can be flagged up for attending a demo, tracked, arrested and now tortured into admitting to a crime you didn't commit. Surely these practices wouldn't be happening if superiors didn't tacitly approve them?

What's going wrong with the world?

Is the world turning to fascism? Is it just the UK?

Its very important that this corruption and fascist abuse of power be fully exposed, and repeatedly until average people are talking about this, so that the tide turns. Really good thread, starred and flagged>

I can't tell anymore if the world is going to hell in a hand basket or if has always been like this and I just didn't know about it.

This type of fascist tactics are not only being used in the UK but all over the planet. There is a hidden agenda being subtly pushed around the globe and you will see more and more of this. The PTB will claim it is an isolated incident and it will be investigated. However, I think all these activities are their dry run to see how the public will react, and then if they decide the public will be complacent; then they will phase this kind of treatment in as policy. It is very scary that these tactics are in use by the London Metropolitan Police Department.

There was instance of police brutality years ago in Chicago that went unnoticed and very similar to what is brought up in the thread. Take a look at the links and you will see this isn't an isolated incident and it is being practiced all over.

The greatest threat to us, is the complacency of the population in general, the "I've got nothing to hide" mentality. TPTB will slowly exert complete control over us, by relying on this very mentality, when the people finally wake up it will be too late!
