I want to link to this thread as well, for reference

I want to link to these sites as well, for reference

www.hostgator.com...
www.webhost.com.au...
www.ixwebhosting.com...
www.havads.com...

----------------------------------------------------------------------

So me and my friend have a website.

How do we share the revenue generated by ads, like 50/50?

How does that work with paypal/google adsense?

Do we both install our own separate adsense code on the site?

Is there a way for us to divide the revenue amongst ourselves?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Eventually we want our other staff to get a share of the ad generated revenue, so how would we go about doing that aswell?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank You!

Sounds like you got big dreams. Prepare to have them crushed.

I'd worry about actually getting revenue before worry about how to split it. It will take you months just to start getting any traffic, and that is if you are paying to promote it.

You are about 10 years late on putting up a website, throwing on some ad code and getting paid easily. It's a tough business and takes alot of work, as they were saying in that other thread.

You can make money, but you need topics which are based on a good market and alot of traffic. You might think you have a good idea, but it's not going to do well I can tell you now. And good luck finding a good market that is not saturated. People like me will eat you for lunch in search rankings, so don't even think you are going to get anywhere near the top in competitive markets for less than 6 figures in SEO advice.

You are going to pretty much have to decide. Do I want to make sites I enjoy making and running, or do I want to make money. And in the internet business, it takes money to make money.
