The United States and Japan have been pushing for strong sanctions to punish North Korea for its nuclear test in May, but China and Russia have been cautious about more sanctions.
Key Security Council members have agreed on the wording of a draft UN resolution to expand sanctions against North Korea, diplomatic sources say.

I hate to say it, but what will sanctions do to N.K. that has basically no real trade except for missile and nuclear tech they sell to M.E.
It would only mean something if China and Russia stopped providing aid to little kimmy.
I honestly don't see that happening.
In fact, unless all ships/planes coming from or going to N.K. are stopped, sanctions mean nothing.
