Anything but dead.
Just corresponded back and forth with Steve this afternoon.
An excerpt from my initial email below the break.
----------------------------------------
You may be aware, or may have guessed, that the 2009 X-Conference garnered a lot of attention and discussion from the ATS members. Recently, a new
thread has popped up; something along the lines of "What Happen to Steve Bassett's May Deadline?"
I think a lot of people became excited after viewing your closing statement at the X-Conference in which you stated that if the government didn't
disclose by the end of May, you would be taking great steps with even greater urgency to possible "force" disclosure.
From my point of view, many people are disappointed in that all we are hearing about from your camp is Phase III of the Million Fax on Washington
event; as great of an idea as this was, your speech implied that you had something a bit more groundbreaking.
I know you're a busy guy, but any thoughts? Words of advice? More info on what steps you're taking now that the deadline has passed?
--------------------------
Bassett's response after the break.
--------------------------
I assume you have been to www.faxonwashington.org.
Your participation is needed. Send a letter.
Bringing the White House press corps into the mix IS grounding breaking.
And the information linking the Obama Administration to the UFO/ET issue is ground breaking - when the media cover it. Patience. We're making
progress. Tell all the folks at ATS to get their letters off to the White House press corps c/o the WHCA ASAP.
---------------------------
There's one key word in the response, IMHO:
Patience.
If you haven't done your part in sending a letter/fax/email, I'm not sure you really have a right to show impatience. We all need to participate in
this in order to send as loud a message as possible. Forget the naysayers, forget those who say Disclosure won't happen. Let's try, as a collective,
and then exercise patience. Let's see what happens.
