Astronauts Debunk NASA 'UFO' Videos

Among UFO conspiracy buffs (those who believe the moon landings were faked, that there's a giant human face built on the surface of Mars, alien life found by NASA, etc.) one common tactic is to review the released raw footage from old space missions frame by frame. If at any point in the often poor-quality films they see something they think is odd, or don't understand, they jump to the conclusion that it must be evidence of alien life.

It would be the largest event in humankind history... I'm not so sure a group of dedicated space scientists would attempt to cover-up an event like this (for apparently no good reason). Not to mention, if they (the extraterrestrials) were so intelligent they wouldn't just float around in our atmosphere and shoot off in unexplainable 90 degree angles, I'm fairly confident they would land and encounter plenty of credible witnesses. It hasn't happened. Why is it that a majority of people who tend to notice these UFOs and accuse the government of cover-up happen to be a little nutty to begin with? Are these people blessed with the good fortune to to be in the right place at the right time in order to experience an actual alien event more than once, as many claim?

This was a good article despite the naysayers, I hope it knocks some sense into people. Obviously governments around the world have their secrets but hiding evidence of alien life and faking moon landings isn't one of them. In fact, NASA has put forth plenty of time and money into locating alien life outside our own planet, why bother if they already know it's there?

Far be it form me to cast disparaging light on one of Imaginova's media enterprises.

It seems to me that it is supremely naive to think that the public has been fully briefed on many matters regarding the phenomena of humans and space travel, let alone the prospect that other intelligences may be influencing or at least interacting with people under tightly controlled conditions.

I suppose you believe we haven't been lied to, and we are not now being lied to.

I will not challenge that belief.

I, however, lack faith in the institutions we have entrusted with acquiring and disseminating scientific information.

We live in a world where people are paying back the debt of their governments by borrowing more money from the people to whom they owe money. We live in a world where mega-corporations exploit and poison us yet they are automatically protected by institutions who are supposed to exist for our benefit. Our leaders make us kill each other over invisible and imaginary lines on a map.

If that is the logic that we are to accept from the establishment, then I can quite easily believe that we are not being told the truth, and that the handful of media moguls on the planet very well could have a motivation that would encourage them to assist in concealing the truth.

But that is my opinion only.

I guess some people do go a little nutty when they discover the attrocities Governments have been commiting for so long ( Black Projects, False Flags, Arms smuggling, False Wars, corruption etc etc ) then throw in on top of all that, the highly likely possibility that the truth that we are been visited by Beings from another planet, is being covered up as well!!!!

I'd have to agree with this post. Clearly our politicians continually perpetuate false information onto us on an almost daily basis and with that being said alot of what would be an E.T. cover up relates to simple money, power, and control of resources. Now the E.t. theories would threaten the very basis on what they currently control and manipulate. Any astronaut debunking in my opinion is not without reason and is the same reason scientific facts are covered up and manipulated. I'm guessing if these astronauts told what many would believe to be the truth about an extraterrestrial presence then quite simply, they would be out of a job. Or worse. . .

Is it really that they are nutty, or is that when the MSM does cover a story they interview the craziest person they see? There's plenty of intelligent people out there who experience things they can't explain by conventional means. I'm sure there's probably many people in high ranking positions who have had strange experiences they are afraid to share because they fear being labeled crazy or insane.

It's a shame in this day in age that when people question life in the cosmos and the possibility that there are more advanced beings than us we get the "crazy" label.

This applies to questioning our government too. Last time I checked it was our duty as citizens to question what the government does. The US was built on many new ideas that didn't exist at the time including; that if the elected official doesn't do what the people want, we can get them out of office. It's dangerous not to question what your gov thinks and does.
