I fully understand what you're saying here, I really do. I lost my dad to cancer back in 2002. Matter of fact, we lost my dad, his sister, my
mom's brother, and my sisters' husband, all in 2002, and all to cancer!
Also, I am a 5 time cancer survivor! Thank God for that too! I don't know your spiritual background, nor is it any of my business, but you gotta
remember, God is no respecter of the flesh, and he tells us this quite a few times in the bible.
I know it's hard to understand God's plans, for his plans are not ours, and it's in the book of either hebrews or romans where it says that as long
as we come in the name of Jesus, we'll be forever persecuted! Another thing to keep in mind also is that God only alots us a maximum of 120 years of
life, and only gurantees us to live 70 of them if we are obedient. He says that our time on earth is threescore and ten expectency, and our days are
shortened by our disobedience.
I am not saying your mom was disobedient, but did ya think that maybe God is trying you? God will test us in many ways, and he will even allow satan
to tapdance on us a bit in order to see how our faith is! The bible says for us not to mourn the death, but to celebrate the eternal life of our loved
ones!
When we are born, our days are numbered, and God even knows how many hairs are on our heads. Don't reject God simply because he didn't grant you
your prayer. I have been rejected thousands of times in my life, and later on, something always happens that makes me see why whatever happened did
actually have to happen!
Don't give up on God, for I know he's not going to give up on you! That doubt you're feeling right now is satan working on you. I know, I have been
in your shoes many many times already! I have emerged stronger than ever too! Remember, fear not the one who can put you to your first death, it's
only temporary, but fear that one who can put you to your second death, for it's permanent!
Hang in there!
