Something bothers me in this country and it should bother you all as well.

The reckless disregard for our Constitution.

The last 8 years marked a sharp increase in Fascist ideology among the conservative parties.

That pendulum is now swinging the other way and rampant Socialism is gaining a foothold on a country that should regard freedom above all else.

Fascist conservatives in this country would like nothing more than to strip us of the constitution in order to get perceived enemies of the state. They want to destroy freedom in order to go after a small group of people, and even more shocking they want to eliminate those same freedoms to go after one man.

Socialist liberals in this country on the other hand want nothing more than to destroy that same document to get the rich in this country, to steal from the wealthy and distribute that wealth amongst people who haven't earned it.

When is it ok to disregard our constitution in order to push ahead the agenda of the state?

Our independence is at stake, thanks to corrupt and government controlled media, we are willingly brainwashed into believing what we are doing to our own country is the right thing to do. We are willingly destroying the most important document to freedom that has ever existed, just to go after a select few people.

Is that right? Is that what America wants?

Or are we all too divided along our party lines, Fascist and Socialist, to care what happens to a tattered piece of parchment?

Truly justice is not only blind, but now has two gaping bleeding holes in her, putting her in danger of dying.

How can there be justice when those in control of the economic forces keep the proletariat chained to the cycle of toil and consume.

Ideology, like twinkies, is a marketable product now. Bought and sold to the gullible by the same ones that control the economy.

Justice isn't dying. She died and was buried in 1964. Everyday the manufactured illusion becomes more real.

It's a brave new world, welcome to the monkey house.

Is that the will of the people of this country? To decapitate and bury justice and liberty?

Is that what the people want?

Is this what this country stands for today? Consumerism? Forget liberty, give us security no matter what the cost to our own freedom?

The people "want" what they are told they "need"

Who knows what this country stands for? Most people have really never experienced true freedom or security for that matter. But the illusion is real to them and that's what matters. Do cattle know they are owned by the rancher and the cattle truck in on the way to take them to the slaughter house?

It gets closer to 1984 with every passing day.

For my sanity I have to ignore the big picture and focus on my own selfish little world; that's not to say that I am not "aware" as it used to say on my bronze designation; but I just can't expend the energy to care.
Perhaps the cycle of civilizations to rise and fall is the natural order of things. I don't know.

bemoan socialism all you want, the current administration isnt socialist in the least and indeed intend nothing like it. Socialism is the use and ownership of resources by ALL the people, but our current regime is still firmly in the pocket of corporate and elitist hegemony. They certainly dont want to help the people out, indeed, they are constantly sacrificing the well being of the peoples future to bailout proven criminals and thieves, to the tune of 12 trillion, which could have paid for every american and immigrants healthcare, education, etc for many many decades to come. And more will follow.

So you say its socialism because the government is getting involved in ownership of business? Thats not socialism, that is in fact the exact definition of fascism, when corporation and government combine.
