*sighs again*

No, it does NOT look like a military plane for the millionth time. It looks like a 767 getting ready to crash and kill alot of innocent people.

This looks like a military plane:

And yes, the airforce uses a type of 767 for tanker transport, the KC-767. It looks like this:

The military version of the 767 known as (in USAF designation) as a
KC-767 has a extendable refuelling boom under the tail

Foreign versions used wingtip pods holding the refuelling equipment

By the way the KC-767 did not as yet exist in 2001 - only on paper
as a propsal to various airforces including the USAF. First orders
came in 2001 from Italy for delivery in 2005 Japan later ordered 4

Boeing only builds aircraft for which there are firm orders for

Flight tests were only completed in 2007 after problems surfaced with
air flow around the refuelling boom required extensive redesign and testing

than why did the loose change guy say it was a military plane ?

so how could the US remote control an air plane in to the skyscraper ? I'm pretty sure you can't do that on a 767, plus they did have the technology back in 2001, but it was only on a small plane

and they cant take the refueling boon off the kc-767? i imagine if they could elaborately plan this whole thing off they might also put the effort to take a refueling boon off a plane. or im pretty sure the government can get there hands on a 767.

Why did people misidentify the aircraft?

Most people are not skilled in aircraft recognition. Add in high speed and
distance will compound the mistake

The "military plane" theory came because somebody said could not
see any windows in plane - therefore must be some kind of military
plane....

Now look at this - don't see any windows !

Now is it a military plane?

Or this one? Its a cargo variant 767 - no windows here
