I did not know where to post this, so I apologize if this is in the wrong place.
AlterNet ran a story on what the writers, Vicki Santillano and Divine Caroline, thought were the 10 most popular conspiracy theories.

The theories they listed ranged from Princess Diana to Shakespeare, to 9/11 and Reptilians. It was, I have to say, one of the worst compilations that
I have ever read. Not only were the "summaries" of each theory a travesty to any possible truth that they might contain, but the entire article, to
me, was written like the authors had absolutely no idea of the depth behind each theory (except Elvis, in my opinion) and that they received their
information from Wikipedia.
I had always liked AlterNet, but now I would have to seriously think before I ever read any of their articles again.
