Loving masquerade skyways
black ravens yearn pure

masquerade in cream
skins of shell rise dreaming pink
mighty Aphrodite

call back black voices
heart of caws writes laws of song
falls raw through wanting

sun lies with shadow
bears dark babes from crying light
slow noise from heaven

today is the day I realize - I can't count

pour black second sight
back into the drink of night
breath’s sheen on the rim

no doves coo within
withheld mourning of moments
timeless claws withdrawn

a known winging on
tigers lying in my weeds
hear tomorrow come

brown earth rolled with plum
my gold light bones hide under
rosy selves interred

mist resting on hours
sounds kissing in silent soon
our while far away



almost raining here...

ajar door slow letting go
glow into night’s hall

Rain drops on my face
Like tears falling from my cheeks
The cool drips of rain

Taking a deep breath
The fresh air filling my lungs
After that long rain

The smell of the air
Memories filling my head
Of playing in rain

Wind blows through my hair
Flowing like thoughts in my mind
Tangled up mixed up

Brush those tangles out
Lets start all over again
New wind has come in

Lost souls all around
Drifting in the wind, confused
Seek the truth within

Dig deep deep inside
Find yourself, do not give in
Keep true to your own

slick warm notes follow
doors beckon vulnerable
priestess listens now

Concentrate on your breath
Concentrate on that which seperates life from death
Let this world fade away
Eternity is here to stay.

Birds soar inthe skies
My thoughts fly along with them
Fly away, drift off

Only if my thoughts
Would disappear into space
Never to return

shimmies umber sound
undone nets set timbre free
hear bass become sea

Lush, glorious spring,

Songs flying through the heavens,

In the guise of birds.

moon waits until three
stands too near to let me sleep
I hear it breathing

Far away I hear
The distant thunder and rain
Lightning strikes the sky

Anger fills my head
Thunder rumbles through my brain
Lights flash in my eyes

The wind is blowing
Whistling into my ears
Hearing words whisper

Calm before the storm
My heart stops pounding so fast
Blue skies once again

illusory deep
sounds blare rippling saxes dire
harpman glisten shrewd

my heart is wing beats
swallowing a thousand cries
so swollen with birds
