Six feet of snow there
Taller than me I would drowned
I am so sorry

storms wander gathered
giants low from farther fields
west winds seeking east

grey my callow green
sweet rain’s dye runs wet between
billows of April

Snow falls on the trees
Next the trees fall on the earth
Do they make a sound?

Are you going mad
Or where you mad all along
Are you going sane

first light's longing born
silver sifting all my dreams
Thrush wonders in song

taking a break from the haiku for a while...

will come back and see what you guys have been up to later

Moonlight beaming down
As the city ignores it
The woods never will

Here in solitude
No lights, no cars, no screaming
Top of the food chain

Nature is no gift
It is where we're meant to live
Not a privilege

This is where we roam
The woods aren't a vacation
They can be our home
