What a douche, the cop of course.

It seems the line "To Protect and Serve" does not apply anymore, not only for cops but for public servants in general (politicians applied).

There is absolutely NO excuse for overreaction, doesnt matter if he had a bad day or not....Ppl dont care.
They pay their taxes, which are used to pay these ppl salaries.

Im in prvate security today and ive been in the police force in South America for a very short time, and ive NEVER over used my "power".


Sadly, this is why today policemen are not respected anymore.
Still, not all are like this.

Anyway: "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Cop was out of line, Power trip, anyone defending the cop is absolutely insane, wether the cop was doing his job so were the reporters, there are different ways to go about that situation and you can see the cop working completely unproffetional.

Sadly 60% of cops are like this now specially rookies.

The cop even seems to hyperventilate, not at all a proper manner for anyone in any job to work like that.

Mozzy, dude...NO...It is not as absolute as you make it sound about the insurance issue...For god’s sake I've been a Chief of Police, an elected vice mayor for a small city, and am still a private investigator. And I can tell you from FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE that just because a police officer "says it’s so" does not make it SO...However; I think we are looking at this from different perspectives. Yes, I concede that many insurance companies won't pay out if the police report says their client for instance was at fault and another person was at fault, thus causing someone else's insurance to be on the hook. However at that point the other insurance company can investigate independently and then it becomes a battle of the insurance companies.
Also, your claim that a judge will rubber stamp a police report so-to-speak if a claim is "against" the police report is false as well. More accurately, an insurance company will deny almost any claim that is contradictory to what a police report says. Meaning of course if the report has discrepancies that leaves doubt as to the cause or fault of something. Under those circumstances most insurance companies usually deny the claim on the first go around.
This is why you really need to have an independent attorney to back you in these instances as the insurance companies usually do what's best for them.
I think what I'm trying to get across to you is that what a police officer says is not necessarily the final word on things. The police officer is tasked with recording the events in a report as accurately as they can but quite often errors and discrepancies occur. It is the job of the investigators to double check all they can and find the facts.

Why didn't that reporter mention the constitution? He never once said he has a right to be there and to film, he has freedom of the press, not that that would have stopped that scumbag piece of trash cop, but it just seemed like that reporter didn't even know his rights. He should have at least mentioned his rights. On another note, cops are getting out of hand, a lot of cops are really just stupid uneducated scumbags that cant shoot straight. But oh well the masters need somebody to be their dogs.
