Okay since you brought it up...

John and I were invited to join the forum, but we were 'asked' not to 'scare off' Henry Deacon...

John noticed that Henry had several sock puppets and pointed this out by addressing one of those puppets as Henry in a reply... This made Bill very angry... This started the ball rolling and John was banned for that...

As for the deletions...

Henry, in his Camelot interview mentions three things as an 'insider', The 'Looking Glass' project, a laser known as Shiva Nova which he very reluctantly talked about, and Solar Warden, the hidden space fleet that he later retracted...

Now here is the thing... though he mentioned these things, as a supposed insider, he had no facts or links to anything concrete... This always bothers me about 'whistle blowers' and 'insiders' Nothing traceable other than their word.

When I first came to ATS I thought John was totally 'out there' (and I have told him this) It wasn't until I followed his leads that I found out there was a lot more to it...

Back to Henry...

I already had REAL info on the Looking Glass, even had the actual document from Los Alamos Labs which I even posted here at ATS... where they felt it was worthy of SkunkWorks...

So thinking that being able to back up a key whistle blowers 'testimony' with real hard data as people are always shooting for (but rarely pay attention to) I posted all that data at Camelot...

Well instead of a "Wow great stuff" I got a PM where Henry called me PSYSOPS and threatened to delete all my material and 'We will see what is to be done about you" That was it and a day later all was deleted...

Caught me off guard completely... why would having the real goods cause such a reaction? Was it because he was unaware that so much info was already in the public domain? Did I steal his thunder? I don't know... but this happens a lot lately around whistle blowers. They seem to get a following but few really want to do the work and follow the leads to the hard facts...

So much for disclosure huh? The PEOPLE are not really interested

Then on top of that HD started a blitz on various other forums as an attack... Here at ATS the mods deleted the thread instantly and other forums it also fell flat...

Seems Godlike productions is the only one who let it stand in two pages..

What it shows me is that most people will listen to their favorite whistle blower or insider and never really ask for credentials or proof of any kind... yet when a real document is placed on the table it gets swept aside.

I'm not so sure of the validity. Especially when I saw it seemed at least some of them endorsed things such as Tom Bearden's "free energy" claims, including the "MEG". Bearden's "theories" have been thoroughly debunked: he can't even apply math correctly (he gaffed on a basic calculus formula, I think.).

As far as the disclosure project, as Springer said....it didn't take much to predict the future of that whole mess.

Good idea, wrong time and the wrong man organized it.

I would imagine, that if the climate was right and the whole thing was pulled off by someone respectable and BELIEVABLE, the mainstream might take it and run with it. But the climate would have to be right.

And of course, there would have to be something to disclose in the first place

To be honest, the disclosure project was exciting to me in the beginning. Then there was silence. After a huge bout of silence, steven shows up selling his new age "aliens love us and i talk to them!" junk. Shortly thereafter he starts on the whole free energy machines, "we just need your dollars to help fund a prototype!" kick. so basically it's become painfully apparent that he's just trying to make a buck, and all those people who are willing to testify to congress should really just come together on their own and petition for time in front of an investigative congressional panel. at least then we'd know what every one of them has to say.

i wouldn't really expect anything definitive out of steven, or even anything extraordinary beyond his money making scheme.

Why the stall?

At least some of Dr. Greer's documents can be found in his books "Extraterrestrial Contact" and "Disclosure". And the witness testimony is all over the net, I'm sure most of us have seen it.

Actually, from my own research, I believe Dr. Greer and Dr. Loder have been active on the new energy front all this time, exactly as they say they have been. Ask any of the other big names in the new energy scene and they'll tell you.

The latest news is that they have obtained the Stan Meyer materials and are in the midst of analyzing it.

But Greer and the Orion Project will likely never get the funding they need to succeed......

Umm, the mainstream media DID run with it. All the major stations covered it - for like 2 minutes

The FULL press conference has never once been shown on TV. And come to think of it, neither has any of Stephen Bassett's conferences, or Richard Hoagland's, etc etc.

You don't see a conspiracy there?

As for PC, I never understood why it was so cheesy and poor quality. I watched the boy from Bariska and maybe a few other unmemorable pieces.

I wondered why they never upgraded as they progressed. I mean when starting out maybe, but after several years its just a show of irresponsibility and lack of prioritizing.

When I first saw Steven Greer speak in the Disclosure meeting in 2001 I was pretty awed that someone finally can talk about practical things, encourage the urgency of the matter, and leave out reptilians and stupid conspiracy theories.

Then all I've been hearing lately is that he's a nutjob and he fell off. I am wondering if he was crazy to begin with or why all these really intelligent people always seem to fall off on the deep end in UFOlogy.

The standards are much higher now than ever before Just having your doctorate or being a scientist doesn't cut it anymore. Having potential evidence or military background doesn't seem to be good enough either. That astronaut who has been speaking up lately has seemed to be universally recognized as out of his mind. A lot of these big household names today and what they say would have been "groundbreaking" 15 years ago. Now they are just passed off. I think UFOlogy has become increasingly complex and out of reach to many. So much false evidence has been brought to the table that people just don't trust anything anymore. And I highly doubt the government has anything to do with this.

Why the government doing nothing is better than lying:
People who are skeptical that the government is organized enough to hide the facts are absolutely right. We know through events like Phoenix lights, Roswell, O'Hare, that the air force is not really good at lying. I'm not saying they were aliens there, but the air force stuff was pretty silly if you look at the evidence. The little tricks they do could have been thought up by a child. The bottom line is the UFO community probably has to blame itself. i hate to say but , it really sometimes looks like people running in circles chasing fairies and goblins.

The disclosure project isn't honouring their name,
as I heard of them and saw the press conference I got exited, but it is way too silent!

Dear Mr. Greer, ever defined the word Disclosure?
It doen's need much funding to create an online Archive of the data collected.
That would I call disclosure!
GIVE IT TO THE PEOPLE! LET US SEE WHAT YOU GOT!!!
In stead of that they almost turned into the FIGU!

The website is not crap in my opinion, and regarding ET/UFO matters, it still contains a lot of very solid and very important information supported by very impressive witness testimonies.
What more evidence do you want besides a piece of UFO debris in your hand or a visiting Alien of course?

...surprise! We did, many of us..in fact, there was a disagreement before disclosure that exposed its weakness to those around Dr. Greer, making for a split as to just who would do the disclosing.
I was speaking at a conference with Steven Greer in 2000, & we got to spend 2 days together, during which, he interviewed me on camera about the NASA UFO videos. He was going to include this & video I gave him in his original disclosure plan.

Steven Greer is a most interesting person, friendly, generous & a health promoter to boot! He took my wife & me on one of his long, "healthy" walks! He talks to you the whole time, so you have to keep up. She did..I did not! His speech was a masterpiece & brought the house down. (He was a hard act to follow!)...

So he should, as has been suggested here, start talking, using ATS, radio & You Tube to start with. He knows a lot & speaks so well, that I agree he could at least talk to more than just 'Known" UFO researchers. This is the "old guard" not getting with the 21st. century way of communications...AND that is reflected by the neglect, & exclusion on the Disclosure website.

The 'Disclosure Project' was not a new idea. It had been done, & in the same way just a decade earlier, with the same results...

And forget that "money grubbing" stuff. I assure you he is not short of money...it is the people around him who are more 'all business'! ...

Disclosure was doomed when Steven Greer had to make compromises.
First, he was all for more diversity on the panel, but his "handlers" who got him the Press Club trumped him & excluded any NON-MILITARY panelists, thus every 'Disclosure' panelist had a 'military' connection.

I was contacted recently by a 'disclosure' adviser, who was also one of the panelists.

This intell/military man, wanted to discuss the NASA UFO videos...but we also talked about 'Disclosure', its press conference & the planning. He told me that he went out of his way to debate with Steven Greer the "military only" aspect re:the make-up of the speakers.

This exclusion, he felt would kill any chance of regular "main street" Americans relating to it, running with it & taking ownership of the future of Disclosure! He said he failed, as Dr. Greer had by then given in & sided with his backers, the insiders who arranged the "gig"..

...so this very important 'voice' told me he knew...right then, it would fail! Not Steven Greers fault at all... its typical UFO politics as usual. That is why I do my NASA UFO video disclosures the way I do. I enjoy ATS... I check in regularly, its free, open minded & it is now the best place for disclosures...

so Steven Greer, as other posts suggest.... step up to the plate & join ATS like, NASA UFO Skeptic Jim Oberg recently did, & lets talk. Forget going through the ATS 'Superstar' guest route!...don't quite on us...as it appears you have with "Disclosure.

I think that keeping it military speakers only it gives it an authentic touch. Although the big down point is it keeps the subject where it always has been.
