changing your user ID

Ok so I have looked and found you cant change your ID on here. Once you pick it, it's done. Well why not have an option in the store where for however many points you can buy a new one? I dont know how all this works but I was just curious. I would love to change mine. I just picked the same one I use for everything so it's easy to remember with all the sites I visit. If this cant be done oh well. It's just a thought.
